Their country has similar climate to countries in Southeast Asian. A lot of fruit trees and vegetables are edible. Unfortunately not many people could use them.

Agricultural and medicines are very backward in this country. Not many people are willing to try unknown fruits or vegetables. Food poisoning could result death. That's why many plants aren't being used.

A month has passed since Wen first met Huo Nai and Xu Yan . The buns sold well.

People never eat sweet potatoes (yam) and taro. They feel the buns are quite novelty.

The wonton noodles always sold out. Business has been very good.

Huo Nai gives the profit share to Ling Wen.

"Of course. How about turtles or birds?"

Huo Nai and Xu Yan tried making them.

Huo Nai failed. The dough becomes pancake type. Xu Yan's bun looks like a stone.

Wen comments, "Hmm... Maybe it's too hard for you. Let's try another shape. Something easy."

They end up making money shaped buns. In this era, people trade using gold ingots.

Huo Nai asks, "Shouldn't gold be yellow?"

"You are right. Only natural food coloring available. What to do? Got it! We could use one duck egg. Use the yolk for coloring."

Xu Yan is impressed. The younger ger is a great cook, kind and has innovative mind.

He nudges at Huo Nai and his son shakes his head. Ling Wen is very adorable. Too bad Huo Nai already has a sweetheart. They are going to get married next year.

Xu Yan grits his teeth. Hating iron couldn't become steel.

He smiles when he asks, "We never saw your husband. Is he not in this city?"

Ling Wen stares Xiao Bao. His son is busy reading a children book. Fortunately he hasn't heard their conversation.

He replies, "He is no longer around."

I didn't lie. I don't even know who he is. He could be anyone. The original host didn't have clear memories.
