"I heard, the company won the case," I was driving to the hospital while talking to Allison through facetime.

Nakalagay sa phone holder ang phone ko kaya hindi ako nahihirapang makita siya. She nod her head.

"Yes, we win. The aviation investigation say it's all. Walang kasalanan ang airline even the maintenance kase nasa ayos at plakado ang lahat tungkol sa aircraft. Walang sira o kahit ano. The pilot… he's the one who have done it all. I told you, it was sabotage. Someone pays him para gawin yun." Pagkukwento niya.

It's currently ten o'clock in the morning here in the Philippines, while there was five o'clock. Mukhang kagigising niya pa lang din. Base on her background nakaupo siya sa sofa, bahagyang pang gulo-gulo ang buhok while drinking her coffee.

12 o'clock pa ang duty ko dahil thursday ngayon pero napili kong maagang pumasok kasi baka marami akong patients gayung absent pa naman ako kahapon. Eventually, kami. Jasmine and I are both absent yesterday because obviously we're together.

After the intense and steamy scene we made in her kitchen nauwi na naman kami sa kwarto niya hanggang sa makatulog kaming parehas. I feel sorry for her because I know she's still sore but damn! I can't control myself! I can't get over her! Nung kinagabihan she have to leave dahil tumawag ang mommy niya. Nakikisuyo na siya ang sumundo sa daddy niya sa airport kagabi. She actually have no idea na ang kasama ng daddy niya sa Russia ay si Allison na kausap ko ngayon. And since last night, Jasmine and I didn't talk.

"The case process is done… uuwi ka na?" I asked carefully.

I looked at her when I stopped my car. Red light ang ilaw ng traffic light sa intersection kaya traffic.

"Oh… that's the reason why I called. I need to stay here for awhile." Napakunot ang noo ko dahil sa narinig.

"For a while? Why? I thought after the case you will come back? And besides the company wins naman, 'di ba?"

"Yes we already win against the case na finale ng pamilya ng mga passengers, but the investigation is not yet over. We still need to know who's the people behind this. Hindi pa rin namin alam kung sino ang nag-utos at nagbayad sa pilot namin para gawin 'yun." Allison explained.

I sighed and thought for a moment. "When will you come back then?" I inquired.

I saw her shrug her shoulders. "I don't know. Maybe, after a month or a few months?" She said, not so sure. "Why?"

I lick my lower lip because of nervousness. "I need to tell you something…"

I want to end all the things between us. The engagement, the incoming wedding, my relationship with her and all of this. I want to end this. I want to be true to myself and choose myself this time. I want to be happy.

"What is it?" Napaiwas ako ng tingin sa kanya ng magsisimula ng umandar ang mga kotse sa unahan ko.

"I will tell you when you come back. I have to go. Take care." I didn't let her utter a word and I ended the call.

"Wala ka kahapon! Bago iyon, ah!" I can't help but roll my eyes. Ang ingay talaga niya kahit kailan.

Kakarating ko lang dito sa hospital at ito na naman siya para mang gulo. Nakasabay ko kase siya sa elevator kanina kaya hindi na 'ko nilubayan.

"Maxine, lower your voice. Magkaharap lang tayo, oh! Kung makalakas ka ng boses mo akala mo nasa kabilang bundok ang kausap mo." Maxine laughed.

"Nasan ka ba kahapon?" Pangungulit niya pa.

"May inasikaso lang." I start playing the pen in my hands.
