Elizabeth noticed that Leo was driving quite attentively. His back was stiffed. His hands were in the steering. He wouldn't move much and he hardly glanced at Elizabeth sitting next to him. He was surely nervous. Some people might find Leo's demeanor awkward or uncomfortable – Elizabeth found it cute. She couldn't help but chuckle. Leo heard her soft giggle and glanced at her before he raised his eyebrow, "What is so funny?" he asked. Elizabeth looked at him and smiled, "You," she answered. Leo knitted his eyebrows together, "Me?" He asked. Elizabeth nodded, "Yes, look at you – you are so nervous." She pointed out with a soft laugh. Leo tried to loosen up but it was amusing was Elizabeth laughed and put her hand on his stiff shoulder, "It is okay. I find it cute," she told him. Leo narrowed his eyes, "Cute?" He asked. She nodded her head, "Cute," she replied. A small smile slowly stretched on Leo's face as he parked in front of a local restaurant. He sighed and glanced out of the car before he turned to look at Elizabeth, "Uh, if you want – we can go to a better and much fancier place?" He asked.

Elizabeth looked down at her black dress – maybe she was overdressed. She should have thought about it before. Elizabeth has usually gone with Fred out on dates – he would take her to fancy restaurants – she should have kept this in her mind that Leo is not Fred. She doesn't want Leo to feel any less – because in her eyes he is way more than what Fred could ever be. Elizabeth smiled, "No, I want to go in. You selected this place I am sure the food here will be divine," She told him. A smile stretched on Leo's face, "Alright, wait here." He said and stepped out of the car. Elizabeth's bewilderedness turned in a soft smile when Leo walked over to her side and opened the door for her. She grinned and stepped out. The fabric of her dress touched the sensitive skin that was caused by the coffee burn as she hissed softly.

Leo knitted his eyebrows together, "Elizabeth, you have to show it to me later," He told her in all seriousness. "I don't want it to get worse. You should have come to the hospital or at least let me come to see you when the injury was fresh." He said to her. Despite the discomfort, a soft smile slowly stretched to her lips, "Thank you for caring so much," She told him softly. Since Leo was standing close to her – she put her hand on one of her cheeks and placed a soft kiss on his other cheek. To say that Leo didn't expect that would be an understatement. He looked into her eyes and saw the genuineness in her eyes. At that moment he realized how much she craves for someone to care. The glossiness in her eyes showed how much she wanted this. This only made Leo curious – she is Elizabeth Harrison. She must have had all the love and attention she wanted. He has seen people around her, with her – then why did she get too emotional when Leo showed a basic concern. He wants to know what is going on in her head.

Leo cleared his throat and pinched his nose before he looked back at her, "Uh – Shall we?" He asked as he stretched his hand out for her. Elizabeth smiled and nodded, "Yes, we shall." She replied softly as she gave him her hand. Leo held her warm hands in his cold one and led her to the restaurant – which was different from the places she usually goes to.

The restaurant wasn't as fancy as Fred would take her to, but it was perfect for her. The restaurant wasn't filled with pretentious people. The prices weren't too high nor did the quantity of the food was less. Usually, whenever Fred would drop her off at her hotel room after dinner date – she would fix herself a sandwich – the food they usually serve in those fancy restaurants doesn't serve enough food on the plate. But from what Elizabeth could see around – people were served with enough amount of food on their plates. She liked that. She smiled as Leo drew a chair for her to see before he sat in front of her, "Such a gentleman," she commented. Leo softly chuckled before he shook his head. He didn't say anything – he just scratched his nose. He looked abashed and Elizabeth couldn't help but adore his shyness.

Before she knew him – never once did she think that Leo would be so bashful under the hard shell. She always thought that he would be discourteous but she was proven wrong. Leo is a real gentleman – his parents raised such well-mannered and polite children – unlike hers. She didn't want to think about her mother so she sighed and looked at him. "So, how was your day?" She asked. He smiled and shrugged, "Same old – same old. Just got to assist Dr. Bale in the surgery – and it was an amazing experience." He smiled. Leo's eyes went to Elizabeth's stomach where she had her hand on. Her black dress was clenching to her stomach, "Elizabeth – you shouldn't have worn such tight dress." He told her absentmindedly. He realized what he had said and looked at her, "Uh – I don't mean that you don't look good." He said quickly, "You look hot," he said. "Beautiful! I meant beautiful." He corrected himself immediately. "Crap," He mumbled under his breath and sighed. Leo was embarrassed but on the other hand – Elizabeth wasn't. She was actually amused. She knows what he was exactly trying to say – she is not so shallow not to get what he meant. But she finds it cute how he was trying to explain himself and was failing – miserably for Leo and adorably for Elizabeth.
