Chapter 3: Crazy with want

When we get back to the house Zander plonks me down on the sofa. I kick him playfully as he stands up and he pretends it hurts and falls on top of me. I try to push him up and off me saying

"Get off me. You're bloody heavy!"

"I'll be the perfect weight when I'm laying on top of you, horizontally of course" He wags his eyebrows.

"My goddess, what is with you and all these innuendos? Are you not getting any?? Shall I have some words with your mate?" I tease

"Oh yes please, see if you can put a good word in for me. My bed is totally available tonight if she's up for it!" He goaded me. Two can play at this game though

"I spoke to her and she said she's totally up for sleeping in your bed. But asked where you were going to sleep?"

"You cheeky minx. I'll be sleeping on top of you!" He starts tickling me again, the bastard.

"Stop...Za-Zander...I…ca-cant.. bre-hehehe-ath-hehehe" I giggle out.

"Ok, I'll stop. What's the plan then?" He asks

"Oh i was planning to sleep with Keelan tonight!" I reply

They all snigger at me. What's so bloody funny.

"Alright what?"

"He meant with the situation, little love. We have an Alpha Declan, claiming you as his mate. We need to find out if it's legitimate and if it's not, we need to know if he's mistaken a potential for a truth. In that case we can call it a misunderstanding. If he's trying to trick you or forge a bond somehow we need to know so he can be dealt with accordingly." Blake answers me making me blush

"Oh"

"Don't be embarrassed ma moitié, your welcome in any of our beds. And we understand you wanting to be with Keelan right now. There's nothing wrong with that. And after your and Zander's little game, I understand your confusion with his question. Now we also have Tejus coming soon so we need to get started on there section of land Caleb has drawn up the architectural plans, I spoke to the builders and they want to start next week. Hopefully most of it will be well underway when he arrives and a lot of houses will be done for some to move here if they wish. The Royals dwelling will be like all our setups so shouldn't take long either. We need to start upping Kylies training too. We need to teach her to think under pressure and duress. We know she can handle herself but we need to teach her to fight against other creatures and those in shifted form." Sebastian then turns to me.

"I'm not saying you're not capable, ma moitié. We've seen you fight but you only ever trained with Logan in a confined space and then he was taken from you. We need you to have knowledge on all creatures to better fight against them." I stand up and go to him wrapping my arms around him, and feel as his hands slide around me returning the hug.

"I'm not offended. It's pretty much what i've been asking for forever. You were all just a bit like. me man, protect woman, you no fight, only man!" I mimicked in a deep caveman style voice and there all looking at me with varying degrees of irritation

"We were not like that at all-" I look at Dravin with a raised eyebrow

"Really, coz I recall sneaking to the training grounds for you all to flip your lids!" I say

"That was totally different, after everything we'd learned we didn't want you-"

"Getting hurt? Please! all that felt like a feather hitting me compared to what i'd been through! And you didn't want me training with other men. Yeah! don't forget the little display I had to make to prove a point. Or do you need another demonstration?" I provoke. They all growl at me except Caleb, the ever calm and reasonable one.
