Sunday is the busiest day of the week, busy in a way I love. Morning with Drake, afternoon with Eva and night at aunts house.

Drake and I would go for long walks, by now there was not even a single spot in the town where I had not set my foot. Sometimes we had breakfast at Charlies. and if there was to be any test the following week Drake helped me in numerical, I suck at numerical. The rest of the time I studied in one corner of the room and he on the other. But I am not sure if he is studying or just staring at the book. I even asked him if he actually liked sociology and he said he absolutely loved it. So, I had to leave it at that.

By the time I was back home Eva would be half way through cooking. She is a wonderful cook. I would give the whole world to eat her food every day. But her cooking talents comes out only on Sunday. I do try to help but would always end up spilling something all over the place. By evening we would be all set to go out. We used to go to the mall, roam around without any aim, laugh at anything and everything and one or two times we even managed to be thrown out of shops. While returning home we usually brought cheese cakes from The Baker Shop. They have the best cheese cakes in the whole town. We would binge on some show till 7. And then she would get ready to meet Josh and I would leave for aunts house.

This Sunday was no different. Except that Drake did actually study something and that we got chocolate cake for the evening.

Josh was standing in our parking lot when I came down. Eva was taking a long time so I thought I would just go early. We just smiled and exchanged a hello and I walked away. I have been seeing very little of Josh these days.

I don't much enjoy this lonely walk to aunts house. It just creeps me out sometimes. I couldnt even plug in my earphones. What if someone just sneaks behind and I dont even hear anything?

I was half walking half running when I felt like someone poked me on the right shoulder. I swung around to just find darkness behind me. I now aborted the walking part and started running. I heard someone running behind me. I stopped took out phone and turned around with the flashlight with a confidence of a man holding a gun. And in the light Drakes face materialized.

"DRAKE?"

"Zahira." He was smiling wide.

"fuck you." I said patting my back.

"why are you beating yourself?" we had started walking slowly ahead.

"I am not beating, I am patting."

"why are you patting yourself then?" I hate it when he stresses on words like that.

"mom says you should pat your back if you get scared or shocked to just calm yourself."

"did I really scare you that much" he was clearly pleased with himself.

"I need to buy a bottle of pepper spray." I was finally getting my breath back. "why are you here then?"

He looked as if he was choosing his words "uh. I just got bored so I thought I would come see you. But then I saw Josh there so I thought I would wait for you here."

We reached aunts house faster than I wanted to

"come in." I motioned towards the door.

"no. I would better go."

I waved him good night and reluctantly opened the door. I wanted to spent some more time with him. We hardly said anything.

Ones the hugging and welcoming session was over we sat down to play a round of carom. This has become a regular custom. Uncle lost every time we played. But still he would play with the same excitement every day.
