I wanted to give you guys these two teaser photos for two important scenes that are going to play out in season two, can't wait to talk to you guys again and get to write lila.
I do think I need to say this really quick though for not only my sake but my readers.
The comment section on this book is really disappointing and i'm gonna tell you why. Firstly, I started this book to show readers what a real toxic relationship is like and why it's really upsetting to see the amount of people that romanticize what they think is a "toxic relationship". I've grown up seeing multiple, i've been in one, it's not something to want or long for nor is it easy to just walk away from. That was my main purpose when I began, though I of course didn't know this book would get over 100k views. What i'm trying to say is that there has been a lot of victim blaming in the comments and plenty of people that make comments such as "i like this" "i want this" "toxic relationship are what i like."
PLEASE do not do this. This book has had a lot of people PM me saying how they are glad someone is finally sharing a story similar to theirs, that it has finally encouraged them to seek help in their own relationship, that it's educated them. That's exactly what I was hoping for along with making a comfort character for all of you. Please realize that just because it's a wattpad book does not mean this stuff doesn't happen in real life.
By saying Lila is a idiot and needs help for staying with Rafe is upsetting and triggering for actual victims. When you are in a relationship like that, it is not easy to let go or walk away from and I was trying to show the REAL issues that come with a toxic relationship. Lila and Rafe had their good moments, those are the ones you guys should romanticize and think are cute, not when he's grabbing her by the face, threatening her, taking her pain pills, and gaslighting.
That being said, i'm excited to see what this season brings. Lila and Rafe might possibly be able to make it, he might possibly be able to change and be better for himself and her. Though, it could go differently and he could be the same or worse. Either way, I will bring justice to all the victims of toxic relationship out there and continue to share their story through Lila.
