(Em's POV)
The day is finally here, the day where I would finally get to see Lippa and Chlo again.
Pat has organised for us to have lunch, all four of us at a restaurant that is about halfway between out 2 houses!
Sam and I slept in a bit because we didn't have to leave our house until 11:30!
This was one of the first days we both got to sleep I because normally someone in the house is up at 6am, bit because the boys had the day off because it was the middle of the week, which is also known as the boy's favourite day!
We woke up to the sound of my alarm at 10 because I love to be prepared and I knew that Sam and I will probably procrastinate in bed for a bit!
"No, 5 more minutes" Sam says as he wraps his arms around trying to not let me out of bed
"Fine, but I don't want to be late" I say giving in
I lie on my back looking up at the ceiling wondering what today will be like!
I mean Lippa and I never really said anything after Laith and broke up... we kinda just stopped talking really.
All I can really hope for is that it would be awkward, which i don't think it will be. I just want us to go back to the way we were, I miss having girl days with Chlo!
"Stop stressing" Sam says as he sits up in bed "Everything will be fine"
"I know, but I just want everything to go back to how is use to be" I say as I sit up as well
"And it will be, it might take a while, but it will happen" Sam says as he tries to reassure me
"Thank you, but we need to get ready" I say and Sam frowns at me "You know me, I can't be late"
"I know, I knew what I was getting into when I asked you to be my girlfriend" Sam says and gives me a smile
"I hate you" I say and get out of bed and head into the bathroom
"I hate you too" Sam says as he wraps his arms around me while I brush my teeth
"You ready for the Freo game" I ask Sam
"I mean I hope so, we know what happened last time we played them earlier" Sam says as he smiles
"Do u need to recite the stats to me again" I say knowing that Sam knows all of his stats of that game off by heart
"Oh well just a casual 37 disposals and 9 score involvements" Sam says as he looks at me with a massive smile on his face
"Yes, yes I know, you have told me like a thousand times and I was at the game" I say
We continue to get ready, Sam and I both had showers... separatly, which definitely wasn't Sam's choice but if we wanted to be on time, that's the way it had to be!
I put on some flare leggings, a crop tank and a puffer because it's is freezing!
Sam surprisingly took longer than me to get ready, but we did get out of the door 10 minutes early!
"You glad we are early" Sam says as he pulls out of the driveway
"Yes very" I say and I smile at him!
The drive to the restaurant was about 15 minutes and thankfully there was only minimal traffic because it's a work day for most people!
"You ready" Sam asks as he puts the car in park and my heart starts to race
"I don't know why I'm so nervous, it's not like we had a massive fall out" I say at him
"Everything will be great, if they didn't want to meet, they wouldn't have said yes" Sam says
