(Em's POV)
I could not be happier, Zac approves of me and Walshy.
"So what about that breakfast" Sam says
"Well, I was making before I got interrupted, so why don't you two lovebirds go sit on the couch and I'll finish brekky" Zac suggests
Sam and I head to sit on the couch, we turn the tv show on and the game from last night is still on, we continue to watch the game.
"Okay, lovebirds breakfast is ready" Zac shouts
We head to the kitchen and create our pancakes as Zac says "I've got to head to Ikon for training, I've got one-on-one, with Teague"
"Okay, we'll see you when you get home" I say and as Zac kisses my check and heads for the door
"Sooo, we've got the house to ourselves now, what should we do?" Sam says
"I just wanna relax for today, because one, I'm got a bunch of work to do at Carlton in the next couple of days and plus you are playing your one hundred game in a couple of weeks" I say
"I completely forgot that I'm playing it, wait, doesn't that mean I'm playing it against the dogs?" Sam asks
"Oh yeah, lets hope you win" I say smiling, while kissing his cheek
"Have you talked to Lait ever since that night" Sam asks
"No, part of me wants to but the other part of me doesn't, and also, why would I want to rekindle what I had with him when I have you" I say smiling
"I mean you ain't wrong, I'm pretty amazing" he says sarcastically
"But you still haven't answered my question, what do you want to do" he asks me again
"I don't really mind, do you have to do anything for footy" I respond
"I need to do some recovery for my hip to improve my strength, but I'm pretty sure you don't want to help me with that" he says
"Ur idiot, I'm literally a physio, I would love to help" I respond
"Really, you would" he says while I nod my head
"Well why don't we go to the gym and then we can go and get lunch" he offers
"Yep, I need to have a shower and then we can head off" I say
30 minutes later we are both ready and walking to the car, Sam quickly runs past me and opens the car door like the gentleman that he is, I smile as he opens the door.
"My lady" he says
"You know I can open the door by myself right" I say back
"Yes, but can't you just let me be a gentleman" he says smiling
"Fine but you better not act this the entire day" I respond
He shuts my door and we drive off to the gym.
When we arrive we head in and go straight to the recovery, Sam grabs a roller and a mat and places it on the floor.
"Are there any exercise Williams given you for ur hip" I ask
"Will said I need to roll my hip and then do some lightweight exercises" Sam responds
"Well okay" I reply
I start to help Sam with his stretching, I might have pushed him a bit too hard, but we both know that he needs to be in great shape for the fight against the dogs,
(2 hours later)
"Where do you want to go for lunch" Sam asks me
"I really want to go and get sushi and sit on the beach" I respond and we do just that
(At the beach)
"What are you smiling about" Sam asks me
"I mean I never thought this would happen, not to sound weird or anything but part of me always thought we would end up together but I also knew that it was highly unlikely."
"Aww, Em did you think of a future with me" He says making fun of me
"I mean I've had a crush on you for 4 years, so of course I've thought about a future with you" I say shyly
"Wait, your being serious?" hes says, I nod in response
"So you and I have both liked each other ever since we meet but we both have been too scared to tell eachother" he says
"Wait, you had a crush on me?" I say
"Of course I did, I mean how could I not, you are by far the sweetest girl I've ever met, you always put other before yourself and plus you are gorgeous" he responds
I start to blush at his words.
"Aww" Sam says as he brings me into his arms kissing my forehead.
"Imagine if we had told each other before, I wouldn't have ended up dating that asshole" I say laughing
"Just imagine" he responds
"Sorry, I shouldn't have mentioned him" i say pulling away from him
Why the hell would I mention my ex boyfriend on the first date, why am I so stupid. He starts to pull me back showing that he doesn't mind.
"Hey, Em it's okay, I was with you went it happened, I understand why you said it" he says
"Thank you," I say, kissing him. He's lips on mine feel so foreign yet so comforting
Today has been amazing, just sitting here with Sam has been so relaxing. I still pinch myself every time I see Sam just knowing he's mine.
A/N
THE GRAND FINAL IS TOMORROW!! I CANT WAIT! HOPEFULLY THE CATS WILL GET THE DUB BUT IM NOT CONFIDENT
The next couple of chapter are going to be very interesting, especially when Sam has to play against the doggies!!!
