(Em's POV)
It's been one month since the win against Collingwood and Sam, Cripps, Mon (his gf), Jack Newnes, Jordan (his gf), Zac, Liam, Jack, Will Setterfield, Janice (his gf) I and Jess Brown are all at the Melbourne airport. We had decided that we should all take a trip to Bali, just to relax.
The flight to Bali was very uneventful, we all watched movies and relaxed. We arrive in Bali and the warm wind meets our faces as soon as we arrive. We are picked up by the resort's car and we drive to the resort we are staying at. When we arrive we all check into our rooms, the couples are staying together, Jess has a room to herself and Zac, Jack and Liam are staying together. We all made a plan to meet at the beach in 1 hour.
"This room is beautiful" I say as I look out of the window onto the beach.
"Your beautiful" Sam says wrapping his arms around me
A couple of hours later we are all relaxing by the pool, the boys are all messing around in the water and the girls are relaxing on the chairs tanning.
"So, how do you and Jess know each other" Mon asks me
"Well, Jess and I have been friends since primary school, and we grew up together especially since we lived next door" I reply
"That's amazing, I wish I still talked to my childhood best friends" Mon says
"Which one are you eyeing out Jess?" Mon asks her
"What" as she quickly removes her eyes from Jack and looks at Mon
"Zac or Jack" Mon asks, she doesn't respond, she looks back at Jack and makes eye contact with him and he smiles
"So Jack I see" I say nudging her
"Maybe, ever since you posted that photo on Instagram him and I have been talking" Jess says
"That's amazing Jess, Jack is a wonderful man" Mon says
"Thank you, I mean hopefully it will go somewhere" Jess says
"Don't worry it will" I say to Jess
"So, Em, how are you and Sam going" Mon asks me
"We have actually being going really well" I respond
"How long had it been since you two got together" Mon asks
"Uh, it will be 2 months in a week, time really flies" I reply as Sam comes from the water walking to us
"Hey Em can you come with me" he asks
"Yeah" I say as we start to walk away
"Jack wants to ask you and I something" Sam says
"Ah okay, do you know what's it's about" I ask
"Nope" he says and we see Jack sitting at a table at the cafe
(Jacks POV)
Ever since Emily posted the photo on her Instagram and Jess commented on her post her and I have really hit it off. Jess is such an amazing girl and I really want to make her mine. So I decided that it would be best if I asked Emily first given that Jess and I haven't known each other for long and I wanted to know that Emily approves of us.
(Ems POV)
"Hey" I say to Jack
"Hi Em" he replies
"What did you want to talk to us about" i ask
"Jess" he states
"Oh okay, what about her" I ask
"Well ever since you posted the photo on instagram and Jess commented, her and I have been talking and she is such a beautiful person and I was wondering if you would help me ask her out" Jack asks
"Oh my gosh, yes of course Jack, I would love too" I say
"Thank you, I was planning on asking her this trip" he says
"Well when you have an idea let us know" I reply giving him a hug
"Yes once again thank you Emily" he says
"No problem Jack" I say as we all walk back to the rest of the group.
The last 3 days have been eventful to say the least, Jack asked Jess to be his girlfriend and of course Jess said yes. Surprisingly Jack actually had a really cute way to ask Jess out. He planned a whole sunset dinner on the beach, just the two of them. When they both came back from dinner they were smiling from ear to ear. Even though this is something that I never thought would happen, I'm glad it did.
(Sam's POV)
Today was our last day in Bali, Crippa, Silvagni, Newnesy, Setters, Fish, Stock and I were all out surfing, and the girls were relaxing on the beach. The waves here in Bali were to die for, they were perfect. We had probably been out here for a little over an hour. The waves were starting to get a bit dangerous and a bit too big for our liking but we decided that we would stay out for a bit longer to see if the waves start to calm down.
All of a sudden a massive wave comes in and I start to paddle out in front of it. It's right on my tale, I quickly jump up on the surfboard, but before I can stand, I'm flipped on and crushed by the wave. The wave is consuming me, I can't get above the surface, there is extreme pain in my left leg, I start to think the worst. I start to swim up to the surface after the wave passes.
"Walsy are you okay" I hear the skippa say, as my head breaches the top of the water. I shake my head and I can see the boys swimming over to me.
"I think I broke my leg" I say trying to stay a float
"Let's try to get you onto your board" Setters says and the boys help me up
"F*ck" slips out of Stock's mouth
"Is it bad" I ask
"Yeah, You have defiantly broken your tibia, I mean its sticking out of your skin" Crippa says
"F*ck" I murmur
"Is everything okay" I hear my girlfriend yell form the beach
"Fish, go swim and tell Em to call an ambulance" Crippa says and he swim to the shore
(Em's POV)
I'm watching the ocean like a hawk, the waves are starting to get big, even though the boys think they are amazing at surfing I don't know if they can surf these waves. A massive wave starts to form and I see Sam paddle out in front of it, before he can stand up he is thrown under the water by the wave.
"SAM" I scream from the beach as I run down to the water's edge, as I see the boys swim over to him
"We got him Em" Zac yells to me
Sam's head finally breaches the water, I can't see anything all of the boys are surrounding him.
I scream "Is everything okay" as Zac swims to the shore.
"We need to call an ambulance. Sam's broken his leg," Zac says to me. I'm frozen, this can't be real. Zac notices and rushes to the front desk without me and goes and calls the paramedics.
