After I cried for like four hours I finally fell asleep, and when I woke up I almost thought it was a dream until I checked Twitter.

Ew. Sick. Barf. I almost puked. How could Riley even like her after she tormented me for so long. I thought about messaging him back but I just couldn't bring myself to it. " Honey, dinner!" I heard my dad shout. I slumped down the stairs and sat at the table. " what's got you down?" He asked. " oh nothing really, just stuff with Ri-" " Riley. I know" he cut me off. " you know I've always said you two would make a good couple." He said with a laugh. I rolled my eyes and continued to eat. " Do you have any plans for tomorrow?" He asked after a few minutes of silence and soft chewing. " No, why?" I replied. " Well, the Bakers are coming over for dinner." He said proudly. My father was so hard working at his job, he finally got a promotion at his company. His only higher up now was John Baker, he was a single dad as well and had one son, Mace, the most popular boy at my school. He was pretty tall, brown hair, brown eyes, and super charming. He had been dating Olivia before she left and from the rumors I heard, it was a really bad breakup. Olivia took it harder than Mace did but now that she's back it didn't seem like it. I felt my hands clench into a fist under the table just thinking about Riley and her together. I just shook my head happily and decided to eat my dinner quickly so I could go and mope in my bed more. " Thank God it's the weekend" I thought to myself.
Later that night I got another text from Riley.

I felt my eyes tear up again. Riley and I never fought and I wish we could keep it that way. But as long as he's with HER, I can't even look at him the same. I needed to find something cute to wear to dinner tomorrow. Not that I needed to impress anyone, but Mace was actually really really cute. But I just wanted to talk to Riley at the point. I laid down in my thoughts until I drifted off into sleep, finally.
