After their very public breakup, Marissa and Olivia are both back from summer camp early after a nasty chicken pox outbreak. With almost all of summer left, the two are forced to see each other basically anywhere they go. Olivia's rise to fame isn't making things easy for Marissa either, and neither are her parents. After she's forced to get a summer job at a local bowling alley, she realizes that if she doesn't act soon she'll never be able to get Olivia back. Especially after seeing Olivia on the cover of magazines and everywhere on social media with the one person she'd least expect, Natalie Halter.
Olivia on the other hand thinks she's taking the break-up well. But if you'd ask anyone around her she's lying. With her being back early, her label is all over her to release her debut album as soon as she can to profit off of her very public split. The only issue is, Olivia keeps running into writers block like never before. No inspiration, no songs. So she sets out to find something to help her and runs into a very familiar face, Natalie Halter. Will Olivia fall for Natalie or will her undeniable love for Marissa Carson still be undeniable?
