YOU STARE OUT THE WINDOW, LOOKING LIKE A WIDE-EYED KID.

it was snowing: you were the first one up in the morning, since you stayed up all night decorating, and half the early hours making breakfast for your class.

the admittedly extra gesture left you eagerly waiting for your friends to wake up; you didn't really like the feeling of being alone anyways.

you stare out the frosted window pane as you drink your hot chocolate.

"good morning, (l/n)"

you turn around to see the peppermint boy, a smile on your face. "morning todoroki-kun!"

he smiles back, looking at you with a warm expression.

he finally notices the snow outside, and leans against the cold window.

"are you hungry? i made food" he nods and follows you to the kitchen.

as he sits down, a question pops into your mind; "hey uh, i've been meaning to ask you. . .what were you going to tell me the night of the dance?"

he stops, "i wanted. . .you to know how i feel about you"

your heartbeat was thumping so hard you could hear it; "how do you feel about me?"

at this rate, it's looking like he's gonna confess to you before you get the chance to confess to him.

"i. . .i'm not sure; i'll have to research" he looks off, thoughtfully.

you give him a hopeful smile, "i think i have an idea"

he looks at you, eagerly "really? what is it?"

you shake your head, "maybe later, when we're alone; we always seem to get interrupted"

literally just as you said that, you hear a loud yawn from down the hallway.

in walks a groggy kiri; he lazily scratches his stomach as he sits down. you didn't realize he wanted you to make his plate until he looked up at you.
