he sighs, "alright, so i was exaggerating a little; but i was planning to propose this week"
he reaches into his pocket, showing all of you a very recognizable small box as proof of his statement.
mina squeals, "you should do it tonight!"
"yeah," kiri adds, "that way, we can help you set it up!"
aizawa sighs, "well. . ."
"trying a different style, my love?"

you jump, upon feeling him whisper in your ear.
you stare at him for an embarrassing amount of time before realizing you hadn't answered his question.
"um yeah! i wanted to try something more mature—since we're adults now or something"
he only nods, continuing to stare at you; you falter, "what?"

he exhaled sharply, pulling you into him. you melt into his chest, wrapping your arms around him in an almost-hug.
"oooh~" you turn to see mina and kaminari making weird faces and gestures at you
you frown, "bro get a life"
shoto sighs, "let's go; somewhere a bit more private"

you heard them as you left the gym; you rolled your eyes at the sound.
after wondering around the school for a while, you and shoto ended up on the roof.
