"what the hell? is she seriously going to leave me here on my own?" i asked myself as i stared at nahyun walking towards the convenience store infront of this café all of the sudden.
"IM NAHYUN I WILL LITERALLY-"
"hey, aren't you eunjin? nahyun's friend?" a smiley guys asks which made me gulp.
"i-urgh yeah ... i'm eunjin, what about you?" i asked before looking around for nahyun as he smiles and sits down infront of me all of the sudden which made me gulp.
"i'm sunoo, i'm pretty sure nahyun has said a thing or two about me right?" he asked before grabbing a slice of pizza without any hesitation whatsoever which made me let out a forced laugh.
"so sunoo, are you and nahyun close? she has never mentioned you to me before." i asked which made the guy stop chewing happily before facing me with a shocked look.
"really?? well that's pretty unexpected considering how much time we spend together." sunoo starts which made me pout a bit.
"but then again, nahyun isn't always the type to share stuff to people about everything about what's been going on with their lives." he says before taking in a spoonful of ice cream before making satisfied sounds as my brows are now furrowed both out of confusion and suspiciousness.
"well you're definitely right about her not always being the type to sha-"
"oh my gosh yayyy you two are actually talking!!" nahyun says while she's tugging this other guy's arm as they sat down too which i couldn't help but eye on since he seems familiar but at the same time it feels like i am just seeing him now.
"this is heeseung by the way." she says with a huge smile on her face which is making me feel a bit strange considering how this is literally the first time i've done a double date.
"hey eunjin, i'm lee heeseung and this is my friend su-" but before he could finish, he cleared his throat first which made sunoo stop savouring the lasagna before smiling.
"i've already introduced myself to her." sunoo says which made nahyun laugh.
"do you want me to order more food for you?" nahyun says with a smile on her face as i just went silent since i've got a lot of questions for nahyun but i don't want to start some sort of a scene in here.
"so, how did you guys meet each other?" i asked as nahyun and heeseung exchanged looks before facing me.
"i can already tell by the way you're looking at me that you're confused as to why i haven't told you about any of these two yet." she says before smiling at me as i nodded in agreement.
"the thing is i just got close to them two weeks ago and wait a minute, aren't those jungwon and sunghoon?" nahyun asked which made me turn around to see two new guys with smug looks on their faces.

"soooo did you have fun earlier eunjin? i can already tell that you and the guys will have a great time getting to know each other more soon." she says which made me stop walking before facing her with a gasp.
"yah!! i thought interacting with those guys was just a one time event? i don't even like those guys!!" i couldn't help but yell since i really didn't like the way any of those guys acted to both me and nahyun.
they just seem so suspicious and their intentions towards her felt so ... vague.
but at the same time i don't have the right to make her stop hanging out with other people just because i don't like them ... i think.
no, i don't think i should let her keep getting herself attached to those guys ...
cuz if i were to think about the possibilities, she might leave me for those guys. it seems like she's already attached to them but i'm pretty sure they're still not in the same level as me considering how we're literally childhood friends.
"i'm sorry, i shouldn't have yelled."
"i'll try to get to know them more if you want." i said without even thinking about the consequences of my words.
"awwww nooo it's okayyy, i forgive you!!" nahyun says as she gives me a hug.
"i know how hard it is for you to meet new people after everything that happened with you and people who were once your friends." nahyun says before breaking off the hug which made me smile at her.
"but don't worry, i'm always here for you physically, mentally, emotionally, and all the other allys out there." nahyun says as i nodded.
"i know nahyun, i know." i said just as the bell starts ringing which means it's back to boring class hours.
"promise me that you'll start getting out of your comfort zone once in a while?" she asked as i nodded and waved goodbye to her before going back to my class.
