when luz noceda a witch from the boiling isles is cast out for being too abnormal she finds herself running away farther ans farther away from her home until she falls into a world unlike her own

Luz pov: I hadn't forgotten the words she said to me "I hate you" the one person I cared for the most hates me. I heard my phone go off I opened it to see it was a message from Willow
Tree branch: hey Luz why weren't you at school are you okay??
I just ignored it throwing it on the bed as I got my hoodie on ready to leave for the night I wanted to escape this rechid place I knew I wasn't gonna be able to get out of here easily so I just took the window using magic to control some of the wind that way I didn't hurt my legs. I ran I didn't know where I was heading but I didn't care anywhere but here I felt tears escaping my eyes once again.
Once I looked up I didn't know where I was at all I looked around spotting a tree I walked towards it using it for balance catching my breathe as I let everything out

I screamed not caring if anything heard me little did I know something did.
Amity's pov: I felt terrible it was my fault once again I'm such a mess up all the time. I heard a car engine pull up looking out my window seeing Lucia her face was serious unlike the normal goofy one she always had when seeing Amelia.
Amelia walked out meeting her they talked Lucia pinching the bridge of her nose shaking her head no when she saw me she used her pointer finger motioning for me to come here if I was being honest I didn't want to but I did anyway.
Waking outside Lucia got to my eye level "amity I need you to tell me what happened that day what happened to Luz did someone say something to her and what was it" I looked at my sister her giving me the tell her face not wanting to upset Amelia I sighed "you can see it in my eyes can't you?" Lucia nodded "You have that guilty look you always have had when you did something wrong" I looked down "it was me I told her I hated her"
Lucia looked at me "why?" I blushed "because I didn't like the rumors being said that she was tamed by someone" Lucia nodded "I understand that I was the same way with your sister here ya know" I nodded Lucia and Amelia became friends in middle school and became inseparable all through out their high school life we all sat down "you don't hate her do you?" I shook my head no "I think Luz has the fear of being deserted she feels as though she's a burden to you" Amelia added in " the overactive mind of a believer and a toxic mind of an overachiever" Lucia nodded "hell the kid held in tears because she said crying was for the weak!"
I chuckled "yeah she's such a strong person and so kind hearted. So protective of me and her friends" I looked up seeing the two giving me a smirk I scoffed "what?!" They shook their heads nothing after a bit of silence we heard a scream "What the hell was that?" My heart sank "Luz"
Luz pov: I was running from an animal with all fours I couldn't use my magic I had already used enough of it and if I used it now id be nothing more than food I thought about climbing a tree when I felt a pain in my foot I looked down to see I had a gash I'm guessing from rocks stupid shoes. I started to limp looking back occasionally to see where it was compared to me it wasn't far behind I backed up feeling the ground beneath me start to crumble as I fell I screamed seeing the animal above me stop looking for a way to get to me
My arm was aching I felt really cold damn this day just keeps getting better and better I looked at my surrounding I didn't see anything I noticed until I heard the growling noise. That animal had found a way in getting close to me I distanced myself from it till I wasn't able to go any further I became face to face with the thing that was going to end my life I closed my eyes waiting for it to happen when it didn't I peeked to see the animal laying on my legs making me wince some.
It started to howl making me jump some how was I going to get out of here better yet where even was I? Reaching In my pocket going for my phone realizing I left the dumb thing at the house ugh I'm so stupid I thought to myself "hey do you think you can help me get home?" The doglike animal got up I tried to as well feeling pain spread across my whole leg "Great legs broke" the dog looked at me "you need a name" I thought hard "How about brax?" It licked my face "okay okay help me get out of here I need to go home" it sat down "you want me to get on you?" I pulled my sleeve a bit
Brax was warm I felt myself slowly drifting to sleep it felt nice.
Amity's pov: "Eda said she's not there" I started to worry "it was near the woods right? So let's look there" my sister grabbed my shoulder "Oh heck no your not going in there at a time like this it's dangerous amity" I frowned "but Luz could be in danger and we are just sitting on our asses!!" My sister looked at me "Amity Nichole" I yelped at the use of my middle name "you will not interfere with adult problems we will find Luz" I wanted to protest but decided it was best to not
"What the hell is that thing?" Lucia looked "Amity Amelia get behind me!" I looked from behind my sister while Lucia got her baseball bat ready to hit whatever was coming twords us it stopped right in front of us lowing its head I got out from behind my sister going to it "Amity! Get back here that's dangerous!!" I shook my head I don't know why but my mind was telling me to stop but my heart said keep going.
I was right in front of the wolf when it licked my hand I looked back at my sister and Lucia their faces in pure shock I motioned for them to join me slowly they did Lucia noticing something on top of it "LUZ!" She yelled making me run to see if she was telling the truth she picked her up bridal style carrying her to the car "she's pretty beaten up I'm taking her to the hospital" I looked at Lucia "C-can I come?" Lucia looked at me then my sister "I don't care but your making lunch for the twins in the morning they have been wanting your famous cat cakes" I nodded hopping in the car with Lucia while she dialed Camila
Hey mom I got luz we are heading to the hospital I think she's got a broken foot and fractured arm and possibly a concussion" I couldn't hear what Camila was saying and I didn't care all I cared about was Luz and making things right
