fixing a mistake

Twins pov:
"Ugh I'm so tired" he said flopping down on his bed his sister not so far from him "it was just an hour today edric you act like it was an entire year or something" his sister said amused he sighed "Yeah well you, mittens and sis have always had the more energy with staff meetings and all that junk" making his twin shake her head "speaking of mittens and sis where are they?

Making her brother shrug not wanting to leave his comfortable bed. She left the room to knock on her stepsister willows door waiting for the footsteps to come to it later to reveal none other than Boscha herself "hey Bosh do you know where mittens or Amelia are?" She shook her head about amity but said my older sister was in her room I nodded "thanks kiddo" ruffling up her hair only to get a groan out of it

Edric had gotten up as I told him we needed to go to Amelia's room he nodded getting behind me since she always gives us noogies I knocked on her door and got a yell "The door is unlocked" I opened it "hey sis" she got up "there my two goof balls are without fail putting us both in head locks "you studying hard?" We both replied with a "yes too hard the teacher kicks us out" knowing very well we didn't study that hard since we were sort of the slackers of the 2 other siblings we had.

She let us go "so what brings you to my room you guys still have enough money for your lunch right? Not getting picked on?" We nodded getting in our pockets showing her enough money to last us till like next year maybe " we just wanted to know where mittens was" she opened her mouth making an ah like shape "she's at the hospital with Lucia" we know our voices cracked when we yelled "WHAT!" she told us to be quiet "How can you be so calm about that?" She rolled her eyes "she's there with her "friend" we both calmed down saying "oh" wait why did she say friend so dramatically?

"This isn't just a normal friend is it?" We asked looking at our sister on her bed reading a book "Nope" she said popping the P a little bit "Well tell us about them!!!" She gave a smile closing her book "Her. Name is Luz she's not from here she's stubborn as an ox doesn't like to be second doesn't like being touched or hugs. Amity upset her yesterday making her run somewhere having a of all things a wild animal bring her back broke her leg and possibly other bones so amity's at the hospital because she wants to fix it"

Finally taking a breathe Amelia smiled then went back to her book "she's also staying at the clawthrones for the time being" we smirked "baby sister's first crush" Amelia snapped our attention back to her "Do not do anything to embarrass mittens or your grounded" we then looked at each other then frowned knowing well we wanted to at least get backmail on her guess that would have to wait.

Luz pov:
I woke up in a strange place I didn't recognize causing me to jerk up "hey hey hey it's okay your in the hospital" a man told me with glasses "don't touch me" I said yanking my arm away looking at a cord attached to my arm.

Trying to yank it out only to have my hands grabbed "we don't want to do that" I looked up ready to yell at the person but I was met with the eyes of the blight "What are you doing here"

She looked at me from under her eyebrows "I decided to come with Lucia to make sure you where okay" her hands still on my arms I felt the slight movement "Why are you shaking? Are you cold?" She nodded some "just a little but I'll be fine" without hesitation I pulled her into the bed with me "you look tired have you had any sleep?" She shook her head no "rest it's not healthy to be without sleep" I could feel the tension in her body slowly soften "does this mean you forgiven me" I scrunched my eyebrows for what? She shook her head and laid her head on my chest

"Your warm do you have a fever again?" She said "huh no?" She got close to my face and placed her hand on my forehead "A-aamity" she looked into my eyes then backed up clearing her throat
I smiled at the now embarrassed girl in my lap "come, lay back down sleep for a bit" I told her she just nodded laying back down

I felt her finger tap on my shoulder in a rhythm "What are you doing?" She paused then started again "I'm tapping to the beat of your heart it's soothing" I put my hand up and went to feel hers "yours is slower than mine" she nodded "it's always been even when I was little" I looked into her eyes and got lost in them "Amity" she looked at me my face getting hot as I grew closer to her face

"Luz?" I placed my hand on the side of her face my thumb caressing her cheek then the door open revealing Lucia 'way to ruin a moment' I thought in my head "why is amity in the bed shouldn't she be in the chair?" I rolled my eyes "no she hasn't slept since she got here so I thought she should sleep but now she's possibly wide awake thanks to you" amity laid her head down I messed with her hair running my fingers through as I argued with Lucia about keeping amity awake little did we know she was already asleep.

Amity's pov:
I had walked back to Luz's room the doctor had just head out of her room he stopped me "she's awake" I opened the door to see Luz she looked around her eyes falling on the IV that was in her arm her hand reaching to it I quickly stopped her "we don't want to do that" her eyes locked on my face "what are you doing here"

I looked at her from under my eyebrows "I decided to come with Lucia to make sure you where okay" I smiled some  "Why are you shaking? Are you cold?" She noticed that's cute  "just a little but I'll be fine" I said but without hesitation Luz pulled her into the bed with her "you look tired have you had any sleep?" I shook my head no "rest it's not healthy to be without sleep" I looked at her relaxed  "does this mean you forgiven me" she scrunched her eyebrows "for what?" I just shook my  head and laid my head on her chest enjoying the fast paced beats

She was really warm does she have another fever "Your warm do you have a fever again?" I asked to get a no. I got close to her without realizing and placed her hand on my forehead "A-aamity" I looked into her eyes then backed up clearing my throat
She smiled "come, lay back down sleep for a bit" I just nodded laying back down

I started to tap on her shoulder in a rhythm "What are you doing?" She asked making me stop then start again "I'm tapping to the beat of your heart it's soothing" she placed her fingers on the side of my throat  "yours is slower than mine" I nodded "it's always been even when I was little" I chucked some then looked up to see Luz "Amity" her face grew closer I knew my heart wasn't as slow now

Luz?" She placed her hand on the side of my face her thumb rubbed my cheek then the door open revealing Lucia "why is amity in the bed shouldn't she be in the chair?" Luz rolled her eyes "no she hasn't slept since she got here so I thought she should sleep but now she's possibly wide awake thanks to you" I laid my head down feeling Luz run her fingers through my hair relaxing more as she argued with Lucia about keeping me awake little did they know I was already falling asleep.
