TWO MONTHS LATER

I wake up with Ethan next to me. I kiss his forehead and he wakes up.
(E-Ethan)
E: hi mama
C: hi baby. Let's get ready and go have fun today. How about I go get your brother since it's your birthday.
E: yes? I see bubba?
C: yes baby. Now let's go get ready.
E: ok mama.

I get Ethan and myself ready for the day. His brothers and sister come over when they can. I don't hold it against them because I love them all.
I see my phone ringing and it's Brianna.
C: hey girl! What's up?
B: where's my boy at? After all it's his birthday!
C: he's right here. Baby!

Ethan comes running into the room.
E: Auntie B!
B: hi big boy. You gonna go have fun with daddy today!
E: I'm gonna have fun with mama! Papa and Aiden go bye bye.
C: no honey. No. Me and you went bye bye a while ago. They still here. We're gonna go see them now.
B: well I'll tell you what! I love you squirt!
E: mama and me love you
C: we do love you Brianna. See you later.

Ethan and I head out to my car and he is in his car seat and I strap him in and we head to the old house.  As soon as we get there I help Ethan out of the car and we head inside.

C: come on baby let's go see bubba.
E: bubba!

As I'm putting Ethan down on the ground he runs up to Aiden. This makes me feel guilty for separating them. Aiden hugs me and we all go to the car. I drive over Brianna's house and I knock on the door.
C: hey B.
B: what's wrong bud?
C: they look so happy together.
B: who?
C:The twins. I feel bad for separating them.
B: you can always talk to Aiden about coming to live with you. But if he says no it's ok.
C: yeah I know. This whole year has sucked.
B: yeah but you have two beautiful boys right in ring of you right now.
C: your right.
B: come on. We're going to the kitchen.

Brianna pours two glasses of wine and and we sit and talk.
C: you are right. How about we all go somewhere today.
B: like where?
C: the beach Ethan loves the beach. But what if Aiden doesn't. This is hard.
B: hey. Stop beating yourself up.
C: ok ok. Let's go and talk to them.

Brianna and I go and talk to the boys.
(A-Aiden)
C: my beautiful boys.
E: pretty mama.
A: mama pretty.
C: you buys wanna go to the beach.
E: beach!
A: yay!
B:see?
C: ok let's go!
B: yuh boys have fun.
C: oh no your coming with.
B: but-
C: no buts. Let's go!
B: Corbyn.
C: what I just want to have fun with you. What so wrong with that?
B: I can't go.
C: can you at least tell my why.  Come on B your my best friend.
B: because I-I can't tell you.
C: great just more secrets.
B: no Corbs!
C: please don't call me that. You know I hate that name.
B: no C it's not like that.
C: yeah it is B. Your not telling me anything. I don't like secrets.
B: yeah I know. But I do.
C: well let me know when you're ready to tell your best friend everything.
B: don't be like this!
C: like what?
B: like- like a dick.

I turn to the boys.
C: cover your ears boys.
C: so I'm the dick? Well at least I'm not a secretive one!
B: wow I really know why your life is so shitty now! That's why Jonah cheated on you. That's why Scott left you and that it why Daniel left too!
C: no! You don't get to do that! I left them. You told me to. So now I'm a bad person. Oh wait? I already knew that by how many times I hear it a day! You don't have to do that! I know! I know.
B: Corbyn.
C: just don't Brianna. I'm going.
B: Corbyn I'm sorry.
C: yeah and that too. Don't pull the guilty card on me either. Or the 'I didn't mean it' I just don't want to hear it. I'm gonna go.
B: ok. I love you. You do know that?
C: am I sure that you really do?
B: yes!
C: from what I just heard. No. No you don't. Goodbye Brianna.
