Chapter 30

READER'S POV

After Simeon and Asmo went to bed, I laid there wide awake since I couldn't sleep. Raven stayed up with me since he wanted to make sure that I was okay. I sighed a little before turning onto my side and then Raven asked me.

"What's wrong? can't sleep?"

"Yeah...I thought I would have been tired after tonight's events but no. I'm still wide awake and something is nagging at me to explore this place."

"Bad idea, Lucifer is on patrol remember?" Raven reminded me but then, we both sat up and then I smirked at him.

"No he's not, he's busy dealing with his idiot brother Mammon and you know what means?"

Raven wagged his tail before he got off the bed. He trotted over to the door as I got out of bed and put on my slipper boots and house robe. I slowly opened the door and we peaked out of the door and we looked both ways before sneaking out of the room. We walked through the hallways and I was impressed when I looked at some of the paintings and the other items that Lord Diavolo has placed in the hallways.

"Hey, look what I found," Raven whispered before I followed him into a room and it wasn't just any room, it was a music room.

I smiled when I saw the room. There was a piano, a harp and other musical instruments that were in the room. I was like a kid on Christmas as I looked around the room. I gently ran my fingers over the harp which made a random tune that went from a high note to a low note.

"Hey, have you played piano before?" Raven asked me.

"I took some private lessons back in the human world, why?"

"Fancy playing something?"

"And risk letting Lucifer catch us?" I asked in a nervous.

"If he does, he'll be too busy listening to you play and sing. Come on! pretty please!" Raven begged while whimpering and giving me those puppy dog eyes.

"*Sighs* all right, all right. Good grief," I told him before I sat down on the stool before I had a little think about a song that I should play until I thought of one.

I placed my fingers on the keys and then I started to play and sing.
