"I'll miss you," I tell Brielle, hugging her tightly. She stayed with me in the family mansion for a whole week but she has to go back today. She has started to work and she can't miss any workdays.

"I'll miss you too. Come to meet me?" She suggests and I promise her I would. Even though I took a break from the café, I would go there every day for four hours or so and then return instead of staying the entire day, but the café ran smoothly even without me.

"'I'm relieved to know you're alright," She says. Of course, she was worrying too, even though she never expressed it while we were talking. She is the only one who knows the truth, to wonder if I may or may not be okay while my mom believes I'm in love. But I never have told her I signed the papers thinking he would save her.

"I am happy, actually. Everything is going well." I assure her to which she rolls her eyes.

"I can see that but I worry often thinking what the unpredictable man would do next." She says, eyeing Arosio who is standing away from us.

Turns out Arosio had asked if she could meet me while he was away but she couldn't with all the work so, she came over now after taking a leave. She works in an interior design company. Even when she was here she was making some designs on her laptop, "I wish you and I were still living together." She ponders, a sad expression taking over her face. She got a smaller apartment in the same building but with a single room instead of a double one, "I'm going to kidnap you right under his nose and take you away with me," She says, bluntly.

"I promise I'll come there after some time," I reassure.

"You better." I'm hoping she would find someone soon so, she won't be alone for too long. She already has some friends in the workplace but I hope she finds love too before someone takes that chance from her too, "Love you."

"Love you too," I say and she turns around when someone comes to escort her. Arosio has arranged the plane so she can leave. And my best friend seems to be unknown about the men who look after her. I feel guilty for not telling her the truth about those men but I can't tell her, for her safety. If I did I would have to tell her the entire truth and she would flip out if she learned the truth. I would have to tell her someday because hiding something from her is a thing I can't do.

Wait for the perfect time.

I feel a touch on my cheeks and I get out of my head and blink my eyes, making my vision clear since the tears flowed out. Arosio tries to give me a comforting smile when all he looks is stern, not knowing what he should do. He won't say I can go with her.

"Let's go home," I nod and follow him. He sits with me in the back seat as the car drives. It's evening. She said she would go now on purpose such that she could spend more time with me.

"Did you find the person?" I ask after a while.

"Yes but someone else is involved too." He says, truthfully. He didn't try to hide the answer.

"I wonder who." I place the faces in my head trying to find who would try to kill me. This doesn't make sense why would they try to attack me if they are Arosio's enemy. I don't want anything to happen to Arosio either, honestly, the thought of something happening to him is far from something I want. But why me? I don't remember doing anything to anyone so why?

"We'll find soon and we'll be back to our home."

Our home.

Our room.

Our place.

He always calls everything our when in reality it's his. It's as if he has fully accepted me as his wife and nothing else seems to be important to him.
