Ring. Ring.

I fist my hand and stand up. How will I do that? Remove her? She has removed herself from my life but she is still there.

Ring. Ring.

Ma.

"Ma?" I speak, opening Roselyn's suitcase. She didn't take any clothes. What am I thinking? As if she would return for these clothes. She could buy it anywhere. She has money and Ryan earns pretty well so she obviously wouldn't care about leaving her clothes behind with all the money she has.

"Your brother is here." She sounds emotional. What does he want? How many things will I have to deal with? The other times I, at the very least, knew she would be there. In home. In our room. It's been few hours and the insanity is already consuming me. If she thought guilt was bad for me then she is wrong. The insanity I feel knowing she is not with me is what feels like being stabbed with a knife and dying seconds by seconds as the blood drops out.

"Where is everyone else?" Who had let him enter the house? I thought he left. Why is he there?

"Right here in the estate. I hadn't seen him until minutes ago but turns out he has been here ever since the time Roselyn was brought home." Brought home. She has already left with no trace behind. What's the point, Roselyn?

"Do you want me to kick him out?"

"Your grandfather would disagree." I can't believe he is not dead yet. "Anyway, I called because I wanted to know how you and daughter are doing." Daughter. Roselyn could have at least given some closure to our-my family so they wouldn't be hurting. But she didn't. Left after giving me a piece of paper. This paper is not her. What will I do with this? This paper does not have her lips or eyes or anything about her. Her words? Yes. But it's not her. And despite loving the words of love I loathe this paper because she wrote this as the last thing she would ever tell me. But I want every one of her words forever.

"She left," I say straight forward. There is nothing in her suitcase. I don't know what I had expected since I had ordered Lana to pack these clothes for her and hasn't been open ever since.

"She went to meet Riley? Aren't you with her?"

"No Ma. She left me. She is not with me. I don't know where she is." I trace the pillows, where she had slept last night, with my finger. The wedding band reflects in the light again.

Roselyn.

"What?" Shock. She is shocked but me? I'm not shocked. I'm...... I should be shocked but the other emotion overpowers the shock. I had never thought she would run again. The thought didn't even cross my mind once that's the reason why the void and torment are taking over me. If I had thought this would happen I would have been, maybe, prepared somehow. "What do you mean by that? She was alright when we were there. You didn't do anything, did you Arosio?" Sure they didn't expect this either.

"I didn't do anything. She left with no words." I look at the paper in my hand. The three words look back at me as if they were highlighted.

I love you.

"Look for her?" She cries. The pain is already traveling to Ma. Why did I say that to her?

"I-"

"Arosio?" she calls out, "I'm sure she is only scared of because of what happened. Forgive her. Bring her home Arosio." Habit is dangerous especially if it includes love. Everyone is already in habit of being with her. It was so easy for her to break that habit, though.

"I don't know," I say. What choice has she left me? "Don't tell Adriana about this," I tell her before she does so. I have a sister to take care of too and Adriana, like everyone else, loves Roselyn. The last time she found out Roselyn wouldn't come home she had cried. And I know she shouldn't stress out.
