SAPPHIRE’S P.O.V

Saya terbangun secara mengejut.

Mimpi apa tu?

Mimpi sedap. Damn!

Is that how Jerome’s lips taste like? Is that how his kisses taste like?

Jangan kau gila-gila penasaran mau tau macam mana rasa Jerome, Sapphire!

Saya rasa saya mau tergila sudah. Adakah patut saya mula mimpi dan terbayang-bayangkan Jerome mencium saya?

I jumped from bed. Grabbing my handphone yang saya charge sepanjang malam, I unlocked the screen.

Am I expecting whatsapp or call from Jerome?

Lemas terus hati saya. Yes, I am expecting at least a ‘Good morning’ message from Jerome. It’s 8.45am bah sudah ni. This is not my usual wake up time but I guess the affect from the alcohol I had last night made my wake up system disfunction this morning.

Saya biasa bangun before 7am or latest 7.15am. I’m one and half hour late from my usual wake up time.

Okay, mungkin dia baru bangun. Walaupun sebelum saya pulang Jerome baru minum beberapa tin beer, manalah tau dia sambung lagi minum sampai mabuk selepas hantar saya balik hotel semalam. Atau this is his waking time.

I walked to the bathroom to shower. Only a shower. I don’t intend to have a luxurious bath in the bathtub. Not this morning for the least. Mungkin nanti saja selepas saya dan Jerome habis roaming the Sydney CBD.

Excited terus saya.

Ehem, apa yang kau lebih excited ni, Saph? Is it touring the city or touring with Jerome? Tsk tsk. Both.

Habis saja mandi saya memilih my best looking summer dress and touch up some make up that would make me look natural but ehem, of course beautiful. Siapa juga mau nampak jelek depan Jerome? Semalam tu tidak dirancang. Pandai-pandai saja dia muncul depan pintu bilik saya dalam keadaan saya yang jelek. Ciss!

Everything set, I to limpang-limpang di katil sambil menunggu Jerome call atau whatsapp saya. Ah, bagus saya whatsapp saja dia kan?

Me: Saya duluan

Eh? Just seen, no reply? Saya tunggu sajalah. Maybe dia sibuk.

Tunggu punya tunggu, kepuasan saya main game, saya surf FB, Instagram and Youtube, sekali saya tengok masa, 11am sudah!

Lapar sudah saya.

And the breakfast buffet is over!

It’s okay. Tahan lapar kau, Saph. Maybe Jerome ada hal.

Saya layan lagi handphone saya sampai hampir tertutup-tutup mata saya.

Terbulat terus mata saya. Saya tersenyum lebar.

I opened the whatsapp notification.

Me: No, thanks, Dan.
Me: I’ll be with a friend today.
Daniel: You have a friend here?
Daniel: Is it Kylie?

Ciss! Kenapa pula saya mau keluar sama Kylie? I never liked her.
