It was a few months since you and captain had kissed, you and captain had decided to have a relationship and see where it led, but of course in secret

The only thing was, you were constantly doubting if you were good enough for him, bare in mind you had died after being in a toxic relationship with your ex boyfriend sorry it just works for my idea, bare with me here

He had always shamed you, he had been transphobic so whenever you two did anything PG he would shame you for your scars

You had, had top and bottom surgery so anyone who was to look wouldn't be able to tell if it wasn't for the scars from the surgery's

Anyway, we aren't here to talk about your LIFE we are here to talk about your time with captain

So, captain constantly reminded you how much he loved you, he was a loving and soft man behind closed doors, he just melted whenever you were around

But one day he found you crying in your room

' y/n?' He asked kneeling in front of you as you cried into your hands

' captain! Oh... sorry ' you said jumping out of your skin

' hey hey, it's ok, what's the matter? ' he asked softly

' n-nothing I'm ok ' you said getting ready to stand up

' hey.. no it's not ok, talk to me ' captain said with a soft, encouraging smile

You sighed and said ' it's just... sometimes I feel like I'm not good enough ... like I'm not good enough for you '

His eyes widened as you said that

' I- y/n... why didn't you tell me?, you are more than enough, you are an amazing person, I love you so much, please never think that ' he said

You sighed and looked down at your knees and said ' m'sorry '

Captain looked at you in sympathy before cupping your face in his hands

' y/n, you are the most extraordinary Man I have ever met, I love you, never think you're not good enough! If anything I'm not good enough for you ' he chuckled slightly at the end

You laughed slightly, now crying and said ' I love you too captain... thank you '

He smiled and said ' there's nothing to thank me for '

After that, the two of you somehow ended up fast asleep cuddling on your bed, your face against his chest as he had his arms around you
