Summary: you and captain both fought in the war, everything is quiet until a program about tanks comes on

Male reader ( obviously, it's captain )

You and captain had both fought/helped towards World War Two

So obviously you had a lot in common

You and captain had been together for a while, of course the other ghosts didn't know

You had been Captains Lieutenant, you had lived there until you had been poisoned by an unknown man

Captain had mourned for you until the day he died... when he found that you weren't gone forever

He had kissed you that day and you had been together ever since
Anyway

You and captain were sat watching television when a program about tanks came on

Suddenly captain gasped

' i believe that's the Cromwell tank! '

You looked and saw it in fact was

' wow!'

' oh what are you two getting excited over this time? ' Julian said coming in

' oh Julian! It's the Cromwell tank! Did you know that it was the first tank put into service by the British to combine high speed from a powerful, reliable engine and reasonable armour!' You said with a giant grin on your face

Julian simply stared at you before saying ' right... I'll sleep better tonight now i know that '

Ok but who else's dad says this like all the time?

You rolled your eyes before turning back to the screen to see a Tetrarch on the screen

Julian rolled his eyes at the two of you before muttering ' nerds ' and leaving 

Captain glanced back, glaring at Julian before leaning to see if anyone was around the corner

When he saw no one was there he put his arm around you and kept watching the program... until about two seconds later when a Churchill tank came on the screen and he started rambling and telling you facts that you already knew about it

You smiled and him and thought about how you were the luckiest man ever, to have such an amazing partner

I used the word partner because I'm not keen on the word ' boyfriend ' ( or girlfriend but that doesn't matter rn )

Anyway I hope you enjoyed this, I must say I was quite happy when this was requested, I've been learning about tanks and tbh they're quite interesting
