-Ruby's POV-

I am starting to get worried, Y/n had promised me that she would meet me as soon as her class was over since had had an extra class today. The reason that I am so worried is that she is always punctual when telling me about meeting up, giving me a time and place that she always keeps. Right now I am waiting at the spot on time... and she is not here nor have I gotten any message from her saying that she was running late.

Ruby: Where the hell is she?

Maybe she got distracted cause I know she likes to chase squirrels around and it tends to keep her mind at laser focus until she catches it. Now let me tell you something about Y/n, she can be a pushover at times well more like all the time but I am usually there to make sure no one takes advantage of he- wait. What if that happened to her? That has to be the only reason that she hasn't arrived yet right? I have to find her right now.

I quickly turn into rose petals as I go straight to Y/n's classroom going through the door startling professor Goodwitch as she jumps a little looking at me. I look around seeing Y/n's stuff still at her seat and I go over to it looking at it before I hear professor Goodwitch talk.

Glynda: Ms. Rose what is the matter you look panicked

Ruby: Professor Goodwitch have you seen Y/n? Like do you know where she went when class finished

Glynda: *thinks for a second* I believe that I last saw her walking out with team crdl, I think they said something about needing Ms. L/n to help with something

Ruby: Oh my Oum... thank you for your help

Before she could say anything else I zoomed off looking at every corner of the school only to not find her anywhere, now I was starting to get dangerously worried. This is not good, Cardin has always hated Y/n for some reason most likely because she is a faunus and if Y/n really is with him and the rest of his team she might be in trouble. Someone has got to have seen where they went, I started to go around asking but was having no luck until I heard a conversation of two people walking past.

???: Are you sure that nothing was going on back there? That didn't seem comfortable

????: I'm sure she was fine you know how girls are these days with playing around and saying no when they really want it

???: But man she really seemed like she didn't want it and was trying to get away

????: Don't worry about it dude I'm sure it's fine

Ruby: What girl and where is she?!
