Deimos x Levitating!Failed Experiment!Reader

Author's Note:Wasn't quite sure how to do the levitating part, so yeah.

You felt.....lightheaded.....weak
You were floating above the ground, suspended in time. You had never felt this way, what was going on? There was a life support machine nearby. What was that for? Maybe your caretaker Deimos would know. You two were rather close, you could even say that you had a romantic interest for each other. The door below you opened. It was Deimos, he didn't look the greatest. "Dei....." he flinched at the name. What was wrong? Was he okay? "Deimos, what's happening?" You asked. "Nothing Y/N, it's okay". His face betrayed his emotions. He looked as if he were about to break down crying. Concern laced your voice as you spoke again "Dei, you look like crap, what's bothering you?" He didn't respond, instead walking over to where you floated. "I love you Y/N". He said, tears brimming in his eyes. "I love you too Dei". You responded. You leaned over and softly kissed him. His lips tasted as good as ever. The small man clung to you, the tears starting to fall. "I'm so sorry Y/N! I'm sorry!" You were confused, what did he have to be sorry for? "Deimos, you haven't done anything, what are you apologising for?" He grabbed you. "I love you so much dear". With that, he unplugged the cord connected to your life support. You passed at once, eyes closing. Life leaving you
Deimos walked out, the tears streaming down his face. Sanford met him outside. "Did you do it?" Deimos nodded mutely. Sanford embraced the sobbing man. "They were a failed experiment Deimos, it was only a matter of time". Deimos nodded. His heart breaking into millions of shards
