AFTER A YEAR OF THERAPY, Y/N is freed from The Red Room, but the guilt lingers. Despite her attempts to work things out with Natasha, things did not appear to work out until a friend of Natasha's visited to make an offer.
Political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability after the Avengers' actions result in collateral damage which Y/n is made aware of during a mission. Members of the team are deeply divided by the new status quo, and she is there to provide assistance.
In Captain America's opinion, superheroes should be free to defend humanity without interference from the government. Iron Man strongly disagrees and supports government oversight. As the debate escalates into an all-out war, Black Widow and Hawkeye are forced to choose sides.
Ultimately, this may lead to forgiveness and finding something positive in the end.
