THE POLICE STATION WAS PACKED; left to right people were having phone calls or talking to the police. Y/n and Sam sat in the waiting room area, she was going through the contacts on her phone bored.

"So no Rhodes?" Y/n questioned, leaning back on her phone and glancing at Sam.

"No Rhodes-" Sam confirmed, shaking his head and looking over at Y/n causing her to groan slightly.

Hearing the calling of her name from an unfamiliar voice; "Sam and Y/n, I've heard a lot about you two, mostly one of you" The woman said, causing Sam and Y/n to stand up looking at her gaze at the two of them, mostly Y/n. "I'm James' therapist. Dr Rayner"

She shook Sam's hand, before shaking Y/n's. "So nice to meet you," Sam said shaking her hand, "Thank you for getting him out"

"We did not have a plan" Y/n nodded her head, shaking the woman's hand next. "But I'm sure you have a plan,"

"That's not me," The Dr said, looking at Y/n and Sam.

Both of them looked at each other confused. "Christan," They heard the irritating voice say.

"Not what I meant, by Avenger..." Y/n muttered, crossing her arms once more.

"It's great to see you again," John Walker said, shaking hands with cops and people who were taking pictures with him.

"You're kidding me?" Sam muttered.

"I'm not thanking him," Y/n stubbornly said shaking her head, childishly.

"Yeah, we did some field ops back in the day."

"I heard you were working with Bucky, so I thought I'd step in," John made his way towards them, looking between the two and Dr. Raynor, "Bucky's not gonna be following a strict schedule any longer."

"We haven't finished our work," Dr Raynor made a face, "Who authorized this?"

John Walker pointed to himself in an obvious manner, as though he should've known it without being told.

"I don't know what I said back in the car," John said looking back over at Y/n, who glanced at him for a second.

A door buzzed behind them, "Perfect timing," Y/n muttered, no longer want to talk to John even if it was for the last minutes of her life.

"But he's too valuable of an asset to tie up. So just do whatever you got to do with him, then send him off to me. Got some unfinished business, him and i. You too, Wilson, Ivan-Ivano-v?. I'll be outside" John tells them, messing up Y/n's last name.

She turned to look at Bucky, who had a grumpy expression on his face, leaning on the counter.

"James, condition of your release, session now." Raynor spoke, walking away towards a door, "You too, Sam, Y/n,"

"No, that's okay-" Sam shook his head before Raynor turned back to them.

"Yeah, n-" Y/n continued, not really liking therapy since it didn't help her years back.

"That wasn't a request," Raynor says cutting you off and walking through the doors.

Sighing, Y/n walked over joining Bucky, who waited a second. "Are you okay?" Bucky finally asked, looking over at Y/n, she nodded her head getting ready to follow his therapist.

"Come on, I don't need you to be locked up while already in jail," Y/n suggested, Bucky grabbed onto her arm pulling her over to look at him.

"I'm sor-"
