AS BUCKY AWOKE, he opened his eyes slowly. His arm was wrapped around a pillow as he opened his eyes. Y/n was supposed to be in the spot indicated by Y/n. He looked at the location and sat up in worry.

He looked around the hut only to discover that she was not there. Bucky slowly stood up and walked towards the curtains. He opened them and ducked underneath them.

There she was, Y/n was playing with children, that were running around. The child was riding on her back as she zoomed around like an aircraft. Bucky couldn't help but smile while looking at her. Her expression was one of happiness as the two children played and laughed together.

One of the kids acted like they shot Y/n with a bow and arrow while she fell to the ground dramatically, she was wearing a cardigan with black baggy cargo pants.

Before raising her fist toward the sky as if she were shooting through widow gauntlets. Before he did an explosion fistbump with her, the child held out his fist.

The little boy, who ran away with Shuri, smiled with a laugh as Y/n laughed. "Where did you learn that?" Bucky asked, walking over to her. A smile appeared on Y/n's face as she brushed the dust from her pants and turned around to face him. Her eyes grew accustomed to the brightness of the sun and she smiled.

"We have the same mindset-" Y/n explained with a nod, "Pretty easy-"

While Bucky looked at her, he placed his hand on her hip and kissed the top of her head. Y/n wrapped her arms around his neck, while the two stood holding onto each other. His one handheld onto her waist. "Have a good sleep?" She asked, glancing up at him.

"Yea" He simply answered.

Her eyebrows furrowed as she looked at him, "I slept next to you, Buck..." she murmured. "A good night's sleep doesn't deal jolting in the middle of the night," she became frustrated, walking away to the lake.

Rather than being angry that he had a nightmare, she was only annoyed and grieved by the fact that he refused to be honest with her. Despite the conflicts they had in the past, she remained honest and trusted him no matter what had happened.

Taking in the view of the lake, he looked over at her. A beautiful landscape was seen while he sighed as he approached her. "Don't be mad-"

"I'm not" Y/n muttered, "Just be honest with me," Bucky nodded his head while looking up into the lake. While glanced over to him, Y/n slowly moved her hand over to him and reached out to grasp his slowly.

"What do you want to do today?" Bucky asked, looking over at her.

"Relax...again" She muttered, "Seems like me and you both need a break from fighting?"

While Bucky nodded his head, he placed his head on top of hers and pulled her close. He placed his hands into her back pockets, just standing there with her, holding her close before, grabbing her backside. Causing her stomach to fall and turn, "Too soon, old man..." Y/n muttered, moving away. Grasping her arm, Bucky said, "James Buchanan Barnes, you need to remove that stupid smirk from your face or else-"

"Or you'll what, darlin'?" He said, in her ear causing Y/n's stomach to drop, as goosebumps covered her arm.

"I'll slit your throat- сука" Y/n muttered, crossing her arms and turning to walk back to the hut.

As she sat on the bed, she couldn't help but grin to herself. He was clearly the one she had fallen for. Bucky was more physically intense than she had anticipated when he entered the hut.

"I'll be back," He stated, looking at Y/n, "Im going to go and help with the goats...-..." She nodded her head while looking at him before he leaned down and connected their lips. Before placing her hand on his cheek, Y/n quickly melted into the kiss, placing her hand on his chest.
