It was the following day after Tony failed, they were in a restaurant with Hulk, who had grown out his hair, was wearing glasses, a shirt, and pants on the same day as Tony had failed. In order to consume the pizza, he rolls it up like a burrito.

The four of them are confused on either side of him: Scott, Y/n, Steve, and Natasha. "I can't be the only one eating," Hulk said while pushing eggs towards Y/n and Scott as they both shook their heads.

"I'm confused-" Scott said.

Her head bowed in agreement with his observation as she watched the Hulk behave normally. Observing the two most confused people, Smart Hulk said, "These are confusing times.". He chuckled nodding his head.

"I don't think that's why we are confused..." Y/n muttered while taking a fry off of his plate.

While waving his hand, Hulk shook his head. "IM KIDDING! I know it's crazy! I wear shirts now!"

"But why?" Scott asked furrowing his eyebrows.

Bruce looked at Y/n, "Five years ago, we got our asses kicked, right?" Smart Hulk eats a stack of pancakes in two bites. "It was even worse for me. Because I lost twice. First, the Hulk lost. Then Banner lost. Then we all lost."

Natasha looked up at Bruce, while she shook her head. She said softly, "There wasn't anyone to blame but yourself, Bruce.".

"None of us was able to make it," Y/n concluded, looking at him while twirling the dog tag around her neck, which was attached to a dark green tee-shirt and she was wearing biker shorts. "We were unable to stop it...and it took me a while to release that as well..."

As Hulk looked back at Natasha he shook his head, "I appreciate it- I feel like I should be the only one eating. Here, have a slice." He offered her a slice. They decline, while Y/n shakes her head, He shrugs. "I was always thinking that it didn't have to be that way. If Banner and Hulk had been working together, maybe they could have prevented Thanos' destruction."

"Okay, but how did...this happen?" Scott inquired.

"For years I treated the Hulk-like a disease, something to get rid of. But when I started treating him like the cure..." Smart Hulk meshes his fingers together. "I put the brains and the muscle together in the Gamma Lab for 18 months and now I'm the best of both worlds."

Suddenly, three children run over to them while smiling and holding on to a cellphone. "Mr Hulk? Can we get a picture?" The girl asked, with a bright smile on his face.

"100%, little lady." The kid hands a phone to Steve. During the photo-taking process, Steve sheepishly hands the phone to Smart Hulk, making a duck face.

"Thanks, pal. Hulk out!"

Y/N and Natasha exchanged glances, looking at each other. "So, Bruce, about what you said," Steve replied, looking at him.

"The time travel do-over? I don't know, that's kind of outside my field of expertise..."

Natasha nods at his Smart Hulk nature and their longstanding relationship. She glanced at the two and furrowed her eyebrows as she looked over at Steve, who nodded his head once he understood what she was trying to say. As she looked at them, Y/n raised her brows in a surprised manner. "You managed to accomplish something that was impossible at the time."

The man weighs his options, then finally yields and takes out his phone. "I was going to be on Oprah next week, but I guess I could move things around."

After being awake for a long period of time and exhausted, Y/n slipped into bed and stared into the darkness. The way she thought about things was that she was just naive when it came to believe that she was going to be successful.
