Located above the hills of the Wakandan battlefield. While the carriers hovered above the ground in front of Wakandan soldiers, the hovercrafts carried Black Panther, Sam, Rhodes, Natasha, Steve, Bucky, and Y/N who were making their way towards the shield. There was an explosion on the horizon.
Y/n thought about what Wanda told her the first time that they met, "No matter what, she is an avenger" even if she did not wish to receive him. She had to fight to save the world right now.
Bruce is running past the hovercrafts in the Hulkbuster. "How we looking, Bruce?" Natasha asked while she was heard through the earpiece, Y/n glanced overlooking Natasha while looking past the rest of the ground.
"Yeah, I think I'm getting the hang of it." He shouted over coms while stumbling over the feet of the huge machine he was controlling, "Wow! It's like being the Hulk without actually" He stumbles on a rock, and a carrier goes by, from which Okoye gives him a dubious look, and Y/n couldn't help but let out a laugh. As if nothing had happened, he stands straight up. "I'm okay. I'm okay."
"We detected two heat signatures breaking through the tree line." Rhodes flew toward the tree line of the shield while hovering over everyone.
When he leaned close to Y/n's ear, Bucky put his hand into hers. "You could have stayed and explored wherever you wished." He explained, holding his gun to his side while Y/n turned to look at him with their faces inches apart.
"What's the fun in that Buck?" she asked, with a sly grin on her face that echoed his own when he recalled their first meeting two years ago.
"Okay, lovebirds, we should be pulling up," Natasha said grabbing onto Her sister's hand. As Y/n became flustered, she let go of Bucky's hand while shaking her head and followed Natasha forward to the front of the hovercraft.
"Told you, I believed in you" Steve muttered, "And I still do," looking in the distance while the hovercraft went to a stop. At the same time, Y/N smiled slightly to herself and jumped from the hovercraft, sliding to the ground to assist Natasha.
The two women walked side by side while making their way closer to the shield. Y/n noticed large triangle metal pyramids in the distance, which were crushing the trees.
The feeling was that nothing was going to be a happy ending.
With Steve and Bucky, along with Wakandan soldiers, she made her way to the group. M'Baku of the Jubari rallies his soldiers with a war cry.
He stops as T'Challa nears him. Y/n stood next to Bucky and Natasha and looked out toward the distance. The three of them stood on a hill whilst hundreds of people chanted in unison.
"Thank you for standing with us," T'Challa said, from near Y/n while she looked in the distance.
Her hand slowly slipped into Bucky's hand while gripping onto the glove. Her stomach began to feel unsure as she squeezed his hand multiple times. He helped her calm the feeling, helping her calm the unsure feeling.
There was a pair of demonic-looking individuals on the edge of the barrier. T'Challa, Steve, and Natasha each nodded over to their sister, and Y/n bowed back as he prepared for what was about to take place.
A pale woman with blue hair and horns stood before Obsidian Cole, a tall and powerful man, who did not look human at all.
"Is that who we are fighting.... an emo woman, and her dog?" Y/n asked, furrowing her eyes and turning to Bucky who shook his head, not approving of her joking about everything that was happening.
"That's what she looks like," Sam said, landing and standing next to them.
"You encourage her-" Bucky asked, jokingly. Y/N smiled slightly as she looked over at Bucky, while Sam nodded his head.
