Chapter 4

{Flashback}

You and Derek decided to move in a month after he proposed.

You two found an apartment that was not too far from both your jobs but not too close to the main city.

As much as you loved the scenery of the city, some peace and quiet with your soon-to-be-husband seemed like a dream come true.

You- "Ugh!!"

Derek- "What's wrong (Y/N)?"

You- "Moving in is so much work..."

He smiles as he walks over to you, putting the box he was carrying on the floor so he could place your head on his chest..

Derek- Take a break, I can bring the rest of the stuff from the moving van."

You- "No, I can't let you handle it on your own, most of the stuff is mine anyways."

Derek- "Its fine (Y/N), you did a lot of work today anyways, you deserve a break."

You grunted, making him laugh a bit.

Derek- "What's wrong now?"

You- "Can you stop doing that..?"

Derek- "Stop doing what?"

You- "............Being so cute."

Derek- "Why? I thought you love it."

You- "Not when its making ME look bad..."

Derek- "How is it making you look bad?"

You- "Because I'm making you carry MY things."

Derek- "I volunteered to do it thought."

You- "I still feel bad..."

You were about to walk out when he stopped you.

Derek- "Where are you going?"

You- "Break's over."

Derek- "Oh no you don't, I'll handle the heavy stuff, you can start putting the small items in the cabinets."

You- "But that's boooooring."

Derek- "Boring, but less tiring."

You- "Why are you like this?"

Derek- "I just hate seeing you get tired."

You- "Aww, you do?"

Derek- "Yeah, cuz then you complain for the rest of the day."

You scoffed.

You- "I do NOT, shut up and get to work."

You hear him laugh as he heads out the door.

You were gonna turn your attention towards the boxes when you heard him come back in.

Derek- "Oh! And before I forget."

He walks up to you and pulls out his wallet.

You- "Wait...what are y-?"

You suddenly gasp when he pulls out a Platinum Card.

Derek- "Here."

You- "What?!"

Derek- "Its yours."

You- "Like hell it is!"

He chuckles.

Derek- "I'm serious."
