Chapter 24

After what felt like hours, you discarded your protective gear and washed your hands.

The whole time you worked on Mikey, you couldn't stop thinking about what he said to you.

"i'm sorry I drugged you..."

"I didn't mean to hurt you.."

"i just wanted to sleep"

You wondered what that meant.

Is he going through something?

Was he under the influence?

Do the others know?

You had so many questions but you weren't sure if you could confront them right now.

You were so tired already from all the pressure you endured so you wanted nothing more than to sleep.

After drying your hands you exited the room to meet the others in the livingroom.

They quickly stood up once they saw you.

Kakucho- "So?"

Takeomi- "How'd it go?"

You sighed.

You- "He'll be fine, like I said earlier it wasn't that bad."

They all sighed in relief.

Mochi- "We just thought the worst because he had lost alot of blood."

You- "Yeah I know...but he'll be fine after a few days, he just needs to rest."

You were about to leave when Kakucho stopped you.

Kakucho- "Um......We really appreciate you helping Mikey, we owe you."

You turned to look at the others.

Koko stayed seated on the couch while looking away.

Rindou was facing his phone but his eyes were on you.

Hanma and Shion aren't present and neither is Suki.

The only people that actually turned their attention to you were Takeomi, Mochi, Ran and Kakucho.

Bast*rds.

You- "Yeah whatever...."

You were going to walk passed Kakucho when he stepped to the side to block you.

Kakucho- "What's wrong? Is something bothering you?"

You closed your eyes and took a few deep breaths.

You didn't want to do this now.

But it was now or never.

You- "Did you know Mikey assaulted me last night?"

Kakucho froze.

Even everyone else's expression changed.

All except Koko.

Who suddenly turned his attention to you.

You- "You all knew?"

Kakucho averted his gaze.

So did Mochi and Ran.

Koko and Takeomi and Rindou turned to the others.
