the harsh rain fell from the skies as the day was dark, the encanto quiet as everyone was inside and lightning and thunder struck. "sheesh.. it really is bad out there, huh?" you tell mirabel, who nods her head while adjusting the glasses that say by her nose.
"are you alright? my room isnt as fancy as the rest.. but are you warm?" she asks worridly, grabbing your face as you reassured her you were alright, but she noticed how you flinched during the sound of thunder. your heart racing in your chest as you softly grip onto mirabels hands.
"lets head to bed, okay? its dark outside, and its raining. my arms are much safer." mirabel lead you to her bed, hands holding tightly but gently onto yours as you both lied down. "see? much nicer, no?" mirabel asks you, her arms wrapped around you as you smile weakly. nodding as you snuggled closer to her, falling asleep slowly as being in mirabels gentle arms felt as if they were protecting you from the harsh weather.
