Elmer Thinks Crutchie Teaches Some Cute Kids

Elmer grabbed onto Crutchie's hand as the boy tried to get out of their bed.

"Don't leave me," he whined, trying to hug his boyfriend from his place in the bed.

"I'm sorry, I love you but I also love those adorable kiddies and I've already stayed with you an extra fifteen minutes."

Elmer sighed dramatically and rolled onto his back.

"If you let me go you'll get extra cuddles tonight but I really need to get to work," Crutchie bargained.

"Deal," Elmer agreed.

Crutchie held his arm out for Elmer to shake.

When Elmer took his hand, Crutchie pulled his boyfriend up and kissed him gently.

Elmer didn't have work, Buttons offered to give him the day off since he'd covered for Buttons when he'd come down with the flu.

The business for the two florists was usually slow the first few days of the week so they both didn't need to be in the shop.

They did prefer when they were both in, even if it was just because it was nice to have someone to chat with.

Crutchie had asked Buttons to give Elmer the day off.

Elmer was growing increasingly tired as the days went on and Crutchie knew he needed a day off to rest.

Elmer didn't know that Crutchie had gotten him the day off and he never would.

"Do you plan on doing much today?" Crutchie asked once he was dressed.

Elmer shrugged. "Probably just relax, watch some TV. Maybe I'll do some baking," he listed off.

"Make sure to relax, okay? I'll see you when I get home," Crutchie promised. "I'll text you on my lunch break to see how your day is."

"Alright baby," Elmer agreed. "I love you."

Crutchie pressed one final kiss to Elmer's lips before leaving. "I love you too honey."

Elmer was taking cookies out of the oven when his phone rang.

Normally he would have ignored it but it was Crutchie, and Crutchie wasn't on his lunch break.

"Hey love, is everything okay?" he asked.

"Um, I had a fall and banged my head really hard. It's bleeding a lot," Crutchie explained through the phone.

"Do you need me to come get you? I'll come get you if you want me to."

"Please. And if it's not too much to ask could you also give me cuddles when we get home? I want to be close to you."

"Of course. I'll leave now in a second. You just stay where you are, don't move too much and I will come with cuddles to get you," Elmer promised.

The conversation ended quickly after that, Elmer got into the car and had to hang up so he could drive.

Elmer got to the school in record speed, he knew the people in the admin office too so they brought him to Crutchie quickly.

Once he was brought to Crutchie he rushed over to his boyfriend's side.

He wasn't sure why Crutchie was sitting on the ground but whatever Crutchie found more comfortable.

"Hey darling, how are you feeling?" he asked carefully, not wanting to be too loud in case Crutchie had a headache.

Crutchie shrugged and held his hand out to Elmer.

Elmer took the hand and gently pressed a kiss to the knuckles.

"Why are you on the floor?" he asked quietly. "Do you want to stay here for a while or do you want to go home now?"

"I tried to get on a chair but I was really dizzy so I just stayed here." Crutchie leaned sideways and rested his head on his boyfriend's shoulder.

"Alright, we can stay here for a while if you'd like that. Whatever-"

Elmer was interrupted by a light knocking on the door.

Unsure of what to do, he looked at Crutchie who was watching to door.

The door opened slowly and a small boy appeared.

"Hey buddy, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in class?" Crutchie asked.

The young boy walked over, eyeing Elmer carefully.

"We were doing art and I made you a card Mr. Morris. I hope you feel better soon." The young boy handed over the card to Crutchie.

"Thank you so much buddy," Crutchie said. "That's so kind of you."

The young boy then looked at Elmer. "Who's that?"

"That's my special friend," Crutchie explained.

"What do you mean special friend?" he asked, confused.

"Well, you know how you have a best friend? It's like that but we love each other as boyfriends instead of best friends."

"So he's your boyfriend?" Elmer giggled quietly at how blunt the young boy was.

"Yes he's my boyfriend."

The young boy nodded and started to leave.

"Bye Mr. Morris," he called as he was leaving. "Bye Mr. Morris' boyfriend."

Elmer laughed lightly once the boy was gone.

"That was adorable. You teach the cutest kids ever."

Crutchie smiled. "Yeah, they are pretty cute."

"You know who else is cute?" Elmer asked pointedly, making it very obvious who he was talking about.

"No I don't know, El," Crutchie joked.

"You." Elmer pressed a kiss to Crutchie's nose.

A blush rose on the blonde boy's face.

"Can we go home?" Crutchie asked. "As much as I love sitting here with you I need cuddles."

"Of course, let's go get cuddles."
