Chapter 26
"Oh really what'd you eat?" Diana asked innocently "oh I just had a little dessert. It was very sweet, delicious. I can't wait too eat it again." Sam said and made eye contact with Jo when Diana had her back trend. Poor Jo liked like a deer in headlights! Sam just smirked. I'll be in the living room." Said Jo quickly and walked out the kitchen. "I wonder what's gotten into her?" Diana asked while pouring a glass of water. "I guess I did." Sam said faking his concern "SAM!" Jo yelled from the living room "yeah?" Sam answered "SHUT UP!" Jo yelled back. Sam and Diana just shrugged at each other. But Sam and Jo both new what he meant by that. Night fell. Sam had gone home hours earlier. The court proceedings started at 9am the next morning
and they all had to be there, when Sam's friends that were there that awful night, Jo wasn't sure if she could do it but she pushed the fear out her mind and enjoyed her first night back in her own bed. Soon she drifted off to sleep. Jo woke up at 7am, rolled over, looked at her phone, and immediately wanted to go back to sleep but knew she couldn't.
