His grandma died right before Thanksgiving so I wanna invite him and the twins over.

Me- "ma" I said walking in her room

Mom- "yea"

Me- "can i invite sekani and the twins over tomorrow"

Mom- "yea"

Me- "you sure"

Mom- "yea baby"

Me- "thank you" I went back in my room and facetimed him

Sekani- "wassup" he said taking a quick glance at the phone and then looking back at his game.

Me- "what y'all doin tomorrow"

Sekani- "stayin in the house and i'll cook as best as i can"

Me- "you can't cook?" I asked laughing

Sekani- "i can but not no thanksgiving feast"

Me- "ok what can you cook"

Sekani- "everything but a fucking turkey" I started laughing

Sekani- "and dressing, i can't make it"

Me- "come over here tomorrow"

Me- "it's either you come over here or i go over there" he looked down at his phone and was giving me a straight face so I mugged him.

Sekani- "ok"

Me- "what you doin today"

Sekani- "playin the game and helpin the twins with their homework. they have a thanksgiving project due when they get back to school and they just told me today" I heard the irritation in his voice.

Me- "you'll be ok, but how is lena's hair looking"

Sekani- "i washed it and put it in a puff"

Me- "if y'all come over early i can do it"

Sekani- "ok i'll tell her"

Me- "go get a haircut, i know since yours ain't cut neither is laxton's"

Sekani- "why are you coming for me right now"

Me- "because that's my job as your best friend"
