Eunjin's POV

Slamming the door shut and ran back to my room. I was now lying on my bed under the blanket. I am so stupid! Even after years of being played, I still having my hopes on him. Hearing what he said earlier just hit me like a bomb.

"Listen if this is about that day, just pretend like nothing happened. That thing means nothing to me. Nothing. It was a total mistake. I shouldn't have do that. I was being stupid. Okay? It's stupid. Satisfied? You can go now."

It was a mistake. Mistake. So he think all of this as a mistake? And he just called it a 'thing'??" I can't lie to myself. Honestly it hurts. I was trying to be soft on him after seeing his little changed but then he actually doesn't even change a little. I hate him playing with my feelings. I hate him. I won't be talking to him again. I'm forcing myself to sleep even though I can't forget what had happened.

Morning comes with a loud storm. Seems it's been raining heavily since last night. It was only 7 in the morning but the thunder and wind are so strong. How am I going to work if it's like this? Sighed.

Just then I turned around and saw he's been staring at me. He then raised an eyebrow and make me frowned.

"Don't you wanted to go to work?" he asked. I ignored him and keep watching the rain. "are you deaf? I asked you, don't you want to go to work?" he asked again a bit harsh. I just nodded. "Then come on. I'll give you a lift." he said again but something clicked in me.

"umm no. I-It's okay. I'll call Won—"

"You'll be having meeting at my office. Just come along."

Wait how did he know?? Did he check all my schedule?

"H-How do y-you know?" I asked curious and shocked at the same time.

"Wonwoo is my business partner. What would you think? Stupid. Now come on." he said and went out of the house. Rolling my eyes before I followed him to the car. The ride to the office was eerie silent since I didnt even look or care about him.

As soon as he stop, I ran out of it and went to the lobby. Finally I can freely breath. From the corner of my eyes, I saw him walking closer.

"Eunjin!" I looked to the voice and saw it's Wonwoo. It made me smile. I waved my hand at him but suddenly he pulled me into a hug that made me dumbfounded. It's not that I was too shocked but it's because it was so sudden. Took a few seconds before I hug him back.

He pulled back and smile while fixing my bangs a little. "Why'd you do that?" I asked while we were walking to the elevator.

He smile before pressing the button. "Nothing. It's just your face look a little bit sad. That's it."

I did? But I'm fine?? He's just too caring. I give him a smile as we walked inside together and just the door was about to close someone's hand hold it from closing. The door opened and revealed him.

Of course. I forgot about the 'President' Yoon. He stood in the middle and infront both of us. I looked to Wonwoo and he just smile. I swear that man today looking more happier than usual. The lift stop and we all went to the meeting room.

"That's all for today. Thank you for lending me your time gentlemen." We then walked out from the conference room. This got to be among the longest meeting I've ever had and also the busiest day ever. We ended the meeting at 4 in the evening.

"Wait wait, all of you. Since today is kind of my special day. I'm gonna treat you all. Don't go home yet and let's meet at the usual place I go to. See you all there." One of the executive said and they all just nodded at his words.
