New Arrangement

Ms. Syfin introduce us to the specialized room. All girls will be sleeping in this section. Sa loob nakalinya ang simpleng double deck na mga kama. May dalawang bathroom sa gilid at isang malaking salamin sa gitna.

"Pwede parin kayong makakapunta sa arena, sa brink, at training rooms. Pero lahat kayo'y magkaklase na sa mga lessons." ani Ms. Syfin. "Bukas may klase kayo ni Ms. Alva. Don't be late. Kahit nasa specialized room kayo, walang special treatment ang magaganap. Livy Balker and Anastacia Cooke are incharge. Do you understand?" tanong niya.

"Ma'am, yes ma'am!" nagulat kami sa biglaang sigaw ni Clara Rousie sa bandang likod.

When our eyes darted to her, her eyelashes flutter. Napabuntong hininga si Ms. Syfin at bumaling sa lahat.

"If ever there's any discomfort, please press this button." huling sambit niya bago siya umalis sa kwarto.

Nagkatinginan kaming lahat. After an awkward silence, nagpaunahan kami sa mga double decks. Mas pinili ko ang malapit sa exit area. Sa babang kama ang pinili ko at ang nasa taas ay si Lunarex. Sa tabing deck si Lupitha sa baba at ang taas ay si Amayac.

Napaigtad nalang kami ng humalakhak ng mala-demonyo si Clara. Ang iba'y napaatras sa kanya. Wow, she's odd.

"Guys please, we need to behave." ani ng babaeng kulay palest blonde na buhok. Her hair is so shiny with the length 'till her waist. May katangkaran at may azure na mga mata. Para siyang anghel lalo na't maputi ang kanyang balat.

"Save your breath, Cooke. This room won't behave unless we separate." tumaas ang kilay ng isang babae. She has off black slight curly hair with gray eyes and full lips. Her eyes are literally the definition of boredom. She looks not friendly. At all.

This will be a long tiring months.

"Red eye." Ms. Alva pointed the lizard-look-like figure on the screen board. May mga spike ito sa kanyang spinal area.

"Red eye is a cold blooded mutant just like an ordinary lizard. The difference is that, Red eye is larger, more faster than them. The term 'Red eye' was originated from a scientist who tried to kill this mutant. Kaya sila tinatawag nito dahil sa kanilang mga pulang mata. Sharp teeth, claws and spikes can cause fatal injuries. It will slowly deteriorate your skin if not treated soon enough. They are residing in desert part of Erthomia. We call that place Scorching Devil." lumipat ang larawan sa isang desertong lugar. "They are active in the day and night which means it's hard to find a place to hide or rest for a mean time." she said.

Sinulat ko ang mga importanteng bagay tungkol sa Red eye. Scorching Devil. I never knew such place. Sa pangalan palang ng lugar ay parang nakakapaso na.

"Ms. Alva, ito po ba ang susunod naming mission?" tanong ni Amayac.

Tumango ang guro "Absolutely."

"Okay.. What about the Zakkas mutants? Diba mas nauna niyo silang na-tackled?"

"Pagkatapos ng misyon niyo sa Red eye ay sa Zakkas naman kayo. You'll just have to wait."

Napatango si Amayac at hindi na nagsalita. For me, Zakkas is the most dangerous mutant of all.

"In addition, Red eye's defenses are their spiky back down to its tail and their long and sticky tongue. They are quick so you must be smart on your every move."

Ms. Alva explain more about the Red eyes. Katabi ko si Lunarex sa upuan. I noticed she sketches the Red eye's figure on her notebook. Naglagay din siya ng label at ang mga importanteng terms doon. Agad niyang sinara ang notebook ng makitang nakatingin ako.
