Suspicious

Our exhaustion pull us to sleep. Napagdesisyunan naming manatili muna sa isang bahay na may basement sa baba. After that chaotic scene, mas naging alerto kami sa mga oras na lumilipas. They could attack us out of nowhere. And also, I couldn't sleep. Mahirap magpahinga habang may binabantayan kang mangyari. You can't assure its safety when you let your guard down.

Kinaumagahan naglibot ang aming team sa buong lugar. Finding clues and stuffs to figure some mystery to solve. We burn the remaining structure to not be a place to stay for the zakkas. Moving on, we roam around near the woods to check if there's something bother. Sa kinaloob-looban ng parte ng gubat ay may isang malaking lumang factory ang nakatayo. Vegetations clings to the corners.

"Wanna go inside?" aya ni Rousie.

Agad namang nag-react si Klaus sa babae.

"You die first."

"Let's observe first." seryosong saad ni Cormac.

Ginawa namin ang sinabi niya. I monitor the so called factory through my visor. Wala naman akong napapansing kakaiba. Nagmasid din sila sa paligid. Lew was gazing the tall Larix trees, checking if he sees anything. The place is unusually dark, subtle cricket noise echoed the mysterious factory.

"Sigurado ba tayo sa lugar nato? Baka dito nagkampon ang mga pangit na 'yun." si Ashwin.

"This is probably the right time to attack." puna bigla ni Lew.

Sa sinabi ni Lew ay bahagyang natigilan si Cormac.

"Yeah, we can do that but do you ever think the consequences?"

"Then, three of us must go." aniya.

Tinitigan ko si Lew na naguguluhan. Ano ba itong pinaggagawa niya. Hindi ko siya mawari. Guys are so confusing. Sa gilid ko ay biglang lumapit si Riley.

"Let's volunteer. Nakakapagod ang grupo na ito." sinabi niya.

I nodded.

"Capt, Hirsch and I volunteered." saad ko.

Nagulat na lumingon sa'kin si Lew. Kumunot ang noo nito. His forehead knitted a knot. Clara shift her gun and smirked. Mukhang nasisiyahan siya sa mga nangyayari.

Bumuntong ng hinga si Cormac at sumenyas kay Klaus.

"You go with them."

"Ako nalang." matigas na usad ni Lew.

I saw frustration flashed his eyes but I remained my composure. I can't understand him. Kaya ayukong pumapasok sa mga ganitong bagay dahil malilito ka lang.

Ngumisi si Cormac. "Ah, I'm so done. Tatlo lang diba? Bakit nakikisalo ka? If you're against this group, then create one yourself. Totoo nga ang sinasabi nila na sa lahat ng maamong tupa, may isa talagang magrerebelde. I see what's going on here." sarkastikong anya.

The aura created a small tension pero hindi ito nagtagal dahil ako na mismo ang nagpukaw sa kanilang atensyon. While us three went inside the factory, the remaining members was the look out.

Kinalabit ko ang flashlight sa armas na dala ko. I watch the team as we engulfed into the dark opening na mukhang malaking lagusan. Dahil sa taas ng mga talahib at ligaw na halaman ay dumayo ito sa loob rin ng lagusan.

Rinig ko ang aking hininga dahil sa tahimik ng paligid. Isang mahinahong patak ng tubig ang umalingaw-ngaw sa loob. Wala akong makita kundi ang lumang lagusan at mga halaman gayundin ang madilim na dulo. Some vines are hanging around blocking our view.
