I have been waiting to write this chapter! The wedding aesthetic and the dresses are in the photo up top!
-AWe were all in our dresses and the girls had headed down stairs to get the boys together. I was standing up in the bedroom so that Fred didn't see me. I looked out the window over the garden at all our guests. There were so many family and friends out there to help us celebrate. Someone knocked on the door making me turn around.
"Hi Arthur," I said smiling at him.
"How are you holding up?" he said.
"A little nervous but fine overall," I said.
"Listen, Mal. I know that I'm not technically your dad but I have always considered you my daughter. I would be honored if I could walk you down the aisle," he said.
"Oh Arthur," I said starting to tear up.
"Don't cry," he said getting me a tissue.
"I would be honored if you'd walk me down the aisle," I said dabbing at my tears and pulling him into a hug.
"Time to go," Molly said peaking her head into the room, "Fred has already made his way down."
Arthur held out his arm so that I could loop my arm with his so he could lead me down the stairs.
We ascended the staircase and the whole bridal party was waiting in the living area. They all turned their head to look at me.
George started to speak, "You look-
"Amazing," Ron finished.
"Fred's a luck guys," Charlie added.
Several more of them complemented me.
"Thank you all," I said.
"You look beautiful, honey," someone said behind me.
No. It couldn't be.
I turned around to see my Mum and Dad standing there in the kitchen.
"You guys made it," I said starting to cry as I rushed over to them pulling them into a hug.
"We wouldn't have missed it for the world," my Mum said hugging me back.
"We're so sorry we didn't send and owl honey. We wanted to surprise you," my Dad said.
"Good to see you, Winston," Arthur said behind me.
"We should get started," Molly said walking up by us.
"I'll see you after," I said to my Mum.
Everyone got in line where they were supposed to. My Mum and Molly walked together. Arthur started to walk out of the door.
"Wait Arthur," I said causing him to stop, "I thought you were going to walk me down the aisle.
"Well that was before your Dad showed up," he said.
"You both can walk me down the aisle. You don't mind, do you Dad?" I asked turning to him.
"Not at all," my Dad said smiling at me.
Arthur walked over to me and stood on the opposite side of my Dad. They both put out their arms and I looped my arms into theirs.
"Are you ready?" my Dad asked.
"As ready as I'll have be," I said laughing.
"It's our turn," Arthur said.
I took a deep breathe as we walked out the door. We walked around the house and the guests came into view. We continued to walk and we're almost to the top of the aisle. I was so excited and nervous to see Fred.
