"PUT ME DOWN!"

My loud voice echoed through the gardens as Sanemi held me over his shoulder, like a sack of potatoes.

He refuses to put me down, no matter how much I plead and struggle, never once revealing where he was taking me.

Of course, I could easily get out of this situation, but unfortunately, that involves breaking his shoulder and elbow at the same time, which probably isn't the best idea considering the current mood he's in at this moment in time.

So, here I am, being carried over his shoulder while struggling for my life, while also attempting not to break any of his bones, which is a very difficult task in all honesty.

"Shut up..." Sanemi spoke, annoyed at my behavior as he continued to stroll past the butterfly estate with me over his shoulder.

I gritted my teeth and scowled. "Why should I?" I questioned, hoping for a responsible answer, but received none.

I groaned and gave up squirming, flopping over his back as my hair fell over my face. "Have you stopped complain-"

He was interrupted by a familiar, but unlikely voice. "(Y/N)-CHAN!!!" I perked up and my eyes caught a cloud of small rising dust from behind a being who ran with two knives, one in each hand.

I tilted my head. "Hanagezuka?" I questioned myself while furrowing my brows.

"Hanagezu-" Sanemi was interrupted when he suddenly jumped into Sanemi from behind, causing us to fall onto the ground with a thud.

Hanagezuka raised the knives in the air as I held my head while groaning while I lay on my back, Sanemi's arm rested over my stomach as he slowly sat up next to me. "(Y/N)-CHAN, I'LL SAVE YOU!" Hanagezuka exclaimed, now charging at Sanemi with both his knives while steam came out from both his ears. "GET AWAY FROM HER!!!" He attempted to jump on Sanemi, who still had his arm around my waist.

Sanemi chuckled with a maniacal grin as he sat up and grabbed the swordsmith's wrists which held the knives, while I still confusedly sat on the floor, dazed. "COME AT ME! I'LL KILL YOU!" Sanemi exclaimed with a smirk as they began to attack one another.

I slowly stood up and walked slowly backward. After a minute of walking backward while they still fought, I turned around quickly and dashed away from the fight. "I OWE YOU ONE HANAGEZUKA!" I exclaimed behind me as I disappeared around the corner, hearing the distant shouts of their fight while I ran further and further away with a small chuckle.

After a solid five minutes of running, I ended up in front of the butterfly estate. The sun had surely set by now and the night's crisp air ruled the atmosphere with a generous touch. The ferns and blooms that littered the estates' beautiful gardens swirled with the light gust. The full moon was high in the sky, and the stars shimmered with bright rays while they hung frozen in the night. The fields of grass and the stone pathway held the night shadows and began to cool from the sun's hot beams from the day. Galaxies of blues and purples could be seen with the naked eye as I looked up into the ebony night. Silhouettes of the trees highlighted the bright heavens and gave confidence to the small pond that reflected the night's hues.
