"Now, what do we have here?"

Her voice tore through the silence of the forest like a knife slicing through deep flesh. The whispers of the wind dove through the breeze that shook the trees surrounding the scene as the wildlife scattered, as if their lives were the ones in danger, when in reality, that threat was for the lone woman that stood alone in the thickets.

The woman scanned the area, her trembling hands sucked into her chest as she panted in pure fear of the voice that just ran through the environment. She was alone. Isolated. The woman was confused, what was going on? She questioned herself on repeat as her trembling pupils scanned over every dent in the forest. Every movement that caught her eye. Any audible sounds that her ears picked up.Yet, there was nothing.

It was almost as if she had imagined the voice just now. Yet, she knew from the shivers that ran down her spine, her hands that trembled in her chest, her rapid and panicked breaths, were far from false, and were far from being considered fake.

Meanwhile, the demon loathed in the fear. It recognized this woman. Beautiful features, soft hair, elegant clothes, a kind glisten in her warm eyes, it was definite that it remembered her from deep within its thoughts, yet it was never able to place a finger on where its memories originated from. It was like it knew, but at the same time, its mind refused to let it stick within its wits, within its thoughts. Instead, the memories were reflected within her emotions, spiking them when even a hint of remembrance was present.

It hurt slightly. Even its own mind betrayed it. Even its emotions were unstable when her mind immediately brought a sense of understanding, of slight remorse, which shouldn't be there, especially within the mind of a demon.

"Who are you..." The woman mumbled out within the silent woods, a chill beginning to form within the air. "Come out....Whoever you are...COME OUT RIGHT NOW!" She cried, tears brimming at her beautiful pupils that shook in terror.

It smiled. The skin around its mouth slipped against one another as the grin widened into something bigger, something more sinister.

The demon now doned something different to what it did when it was first created, yet it was still stained in blood and specs of ash, the remnants of the town not far off from the woman's current location within the forest. Its clothes blended in with the dead of night, yet still held a tint that allowed the slightest bit of it to be visible in the thickets, differentiating it from nature, as it was anything but that.

The demon was unnatural.

It was unnatural to humans, to demons, and to nature itself. It was different, it was more cunning, more understanding, more driven by pure emotions mixed with utmost genius. In some ways, it could be seen as beautiful. Between its power, as well as its looks, the demon could have been seen as gorgeous, an unnatural wonder, if you will. Anyone could have been enchanted, not only by its grace, but its pure gravity that was driven upon by that of malice and disastrous intent. By its pure selfishness, yet it's full desire for true peace.
