It was now evening time and Manik was the first one to wake up. He smiled at the sight of his baby sleeping on him with a cute pout. He pecked her hairs and unwillingly woke her up.

Manik: Baby get up.

Nandini: No 5 min more please.

Manik: Baby it's already 6 p.m. now you don't want to spend the rest of the day sleepy, do you? (she shook her head) So now wake up chalo fast.

Unwillingly she climbed off him and sat on the bed but still her eyes were closed to which Manik chuckled. His pecked her both eyes then cheeks and lastly her lips. Nandini blushed hard.

Manik: So what does my baby want to do next?

Nandini: (thinking) How about I cook dinner and then we will watch movie?

Manik: You are not allowed to cook my dear and most importantly you are alone today so I can't take the risk.

Nandini: (puppy eyes) Please Dadda pretty please... Even you agree that my cooking is the best still you don't allow me... Pleaseeeeeeeeee.

Manik: Hmmm only on one condition... I will help you like that I can keep an eye on you.

Nandini: (flipping her hairs) Nandini Malhotra do not need anyones help. You can just accompany me.

Manik: Ohh I see so Ms. Nandini Malhotra can manage everything alone ha.

Nandini: Of course. But there's one problem we don't have anything here to cook.

Manik: There's a supermarket nearby. We can buy whatever we need from there.

She nodded and then both of them got ready and headed towards supermarket. As the supermarket was nearby they decided to walk till there. Within 10 minutes they reached there.

Manik: So what all things do we need?

Nandini: Chocolate, ice cream, chips, some cookies and-

Manik: (raising his eyebrow) And?

Nandini: (gulping) I meant that we don't need all this today.

Manik: Good.. Now it will be better if we decide what to make for dinner accordingly we can buy things that's needed.

Nandini: As I said earlier I don't need help so I will shop everything you just stay by my side and for the dinner how about pasta?

Manik: Cool then. Let's go.

They took the trolley and went to buy some vegetables first. After buying vegetables they went to buy pasta. They reached to the pasta section but there was a problem. Pasta packets were placed on the top rack which was impossible for Nandini to reach. She tried to reach there few times but she couldn't. Manik was just enjoying this trying hard not to laugh.

Nandini: (angry pout) Why do they always put pasta on the top rack?

Manik started laughing when he saw her complaining to which she glared at him and he tried to control his laugher.

Nandini: (glaring) What? Is this funny?

He nodded his head first but immediately shook as no.

Manik: Not at all.

Nandini: (folding her hands near her chest) What are you looking at then help me.

Manik: What happened to that (mimicking her voice) Nandini Malhotra do not need anyone's help?

Nandini: You know what leave I will ask someone else.

She was about to go to find someone for help but he just caged her with his hands. Slowly he took steps towards her closing the gap between them. Nandini closed her eyes because she thought he will kiss her in front of everyone but Manik he just took the pasta from the rack and kept in the trolley and moved back. Nandini opened her one eye when she didn't felt any movement and saw that Manik was standing there with a smirk.
