============================
My cheek rested against my bandaged palm, which was held up by the armrest of the wheelchair as I looked out the window with a sigh.
Giyu had just left a few minutes ago and I was currently waiting for the serpent hashira to come to my room to supervise me, as much as I hated that thought, I had no right to complain, considering the fact I had been injected with Muzans blood by the two demons from the entertainment district, plus I was in a wheelchair.
My eye was glued to the scene outside, where butterflies of all colors danced from flower to flower in the hued garden filled with blooms and blossoms of all kinds. The sky held no clouds and was a pure blue that was reflected beautifully in the calm pond that lay next to the window, which was surrounded by blooms, mossy stones, and acers, whose colors ranged from reds to greens, and yellows. Kakushi ran from one side of the garden to the other as I watched with amusement laced through my features and my eye glistened with the sun's light as the gentle breeze swayed the curtains along with my hair as my body idly sat in the wheelchair.
The door slowly opened, making me move my eyes to the door, the rest of my body stayed in its original position. The serpent hashira stood by the door with a glare as his snake slithered around his neck and slithered itself down to his arm, resting its head on the man's palm.
The man narrowed his eyes on me as I showed no reaction, I just stayed silent, which honestly was for the best considering I would likely let something rude slip from my lips.
He raised his arm, which had the snake attached to it, before he raised an accusing finger at my form, making me raise a brow. "You. You're the woman who helped the Kamado kid, correct?" The snake hissed as I exhaled before nodding. "I see." He narrowed his eyes before lowering his arm to his side.
He walked over to me, leaving the door open, making me tilt my head and lean my cheek off my palm. I furrowed my brows before he stopped in front of me, his glare still prominent. "Oyakata-Sama wishes to see you. Himejima-San will help me escort you to him and once you're in his estate, Himejima-San will not leave your side. Understood?" He waited for no response before he moved behind me and pushed my wheelchair forward, and out the door.
My mouth parted and my eye widened as he pushed my wheelchair through the halls of the butterfly estate, not bothering to close the door of my room behind him.
It was silent between us, and whenever someone passed us, they felt the intensity of the silence, making them flinch and shake in fear as they passed us in the corridor.
I tilted my head to look back at him over my shoulder. "You have a nice snake." I blankly spoke, trying to start a conversation between the two of us and cut through the tense silence that surrounded our forms.
He looked down at me with narrowed eyes as his snake slithered itself around his neck. He exhaled before turning his gaze back forward, not speaking to me or responding to my statement.
