Sealing the last few buttons of his peach colored kurta, Shaurya turned to welcome Anokhi with a natural grin spread across his face.
The sound of rotating door knob, was enough for him to decipher the arrival of his lady love.

On contrary, paying least attention to his warm hospitality, Anokhi quietly stood at the room's entrance, reckoning the thoughts which Shagun rooted in her mind some time back.

Possessing a least readable straight face, Anokhi retorted with a shrilled voice, her tone was chiller than ever.

Shaurya stood glued at his place trying to read between the lines, decoding the actual reason for her frigid behavior, and infact he completely misread it thinking it to be a result of the gift exchange scene which happened in living area some time back.

His thought of Shagun's involvement in Anokhi's sour mood was partially correct, but least he knew the other half of the story.
