My Best Mistake

REYANA'S POV~

It's been fun living in this village. The village didn't have much and it suffered from poverty, But the people were so kind. They always helped others in any way they could. They always shared their sources with other families to make sure none of them starved. So I always helped them in any way I could.

Over my time in the village, I came up with many things.

One, I had lost a huge portion of my powers. I was powerful enough to destroy huge kingdoms at will but now it seemed I couldn't even destroy a town without using most of my powers. I found that out the hard way when I tried to destroy my grandfather's town. I was lucky enough to escape from some of the lower magic knights.

Two, The elves have now become 'demons' in the fairytales. They had misinterpreted the true story so incorrectly. It seems the Elves or 'demons' were killed by the first Wizard king. With the faint picture of the first wizard knight, I realized he looked very similar to Lumiere, But that couldn't be possible. He was great friends with the elves, especially Licht. Did he betray them? I wasn't sure.
This is why I needed to find answers and maybe, just maybe I could bring them back.

Three, I wanted to sneak into the royal palace. Yes, you heard me right. From my past experiences, I know that every royal palace has a royal library. If I could enter that place, I can easily find the truth about elves. If I'm lucky I could find the artefact room. Special gems could help me bring back the elves and maybe even my powers. Then I could kill the person responsible for their and my deaths.

Four, Kitsunes are also identified as monsters to humans, but they believe we have gone extinct. Kitsunes indeed used to destroy and kill humans but there were rational reasons for that. The royals used to keep us kitsunes as pets. So they would kidnap the young ones, and make them into slaves and pets. So obviously we destroyed the castle many times to take what's ours.
Also I'll never forgive them for causing a war which killed a lot of my people, including a loved one.

Fifth, about the wizard King/Queen and the magic knights. Our village was in the forsaken realm so we get attacked so many times by thieves, criminals etc. And yet the magic knights never bothered to come even if we called them so many times. My parents never let me fight those thieves and that is understandable but it pisses me off when they destroy my village.

I usually train by myself but occasionally Blaydon comes along to cause trouble and the joy of beating that horrible old man always pleases me. He still tries to bring me to his family and make me a noble. He even bribed me with a lot of gold, so I took the gold and beat the shit out of him, like the cruel person I am.

I have already gotten the reputation of being a delinquent. But how can you blame me? I love destroying prosperous towns and large mountains. And it improves my power. But I do get hit by a shoe by my mum because of this but I still love her.

Present time 6:00 pm

"Chris, did you get the vegetables from the store?" Mom asked from across the room.

"Huh? You didn't tell me to buy vegetables" Dad replied.

"I told you this morning and you're telling me you didn't buy it? How am I supposed to make soup now? " Mom spoke, now slightly angry.

"Well, you should have reminded me. Can't you make something else?"

"And what should I make without any vegetables?"
