"What?" Bucky groaned.

"I hear... we are goin' on a double date today." Steve mumbled over the other end of the phone.

"Seriously?"

"I know. Tony said I had to go if I want to sleep in my bed tonight."

"I haven't talked to Alex yet; he's still asleep."

"You slept on the couch?"

"Yeah."

"Thought you don't sleep on the couch."

"Shut up."

"Plus... he made me." Bucky grumbled.

"This is absurd. We are soldiers of war. We went up against bombs, sneak attacks, other soldier's, and we can't fight off our boyfriends?" Steve scoffed.

"Ya know, you're right." Bucky nodded.

"I say we take a stand."

"Okay. Plus, this is our house."

"You're right." Bucky affirmed.

"We fought for America."

"We can win against them. We have the high ground." Bucky smirked.

"Alright. We got this." Steve nodded.

"Yes, we do."

"I'll call you after to see how it went."

"Okay, good, cause I think Alex just woke up."

"Bye."

"See ya, punk."

"How'd it go?" Steve whispered.

"Nice idea, dipshit. Now I'm stuck on the couch for the rest of the week." Bucky snapped.

"Yeah... they may be smaller and seem less frightenin'... but they sure are scary." Steve pondered as he was in the bathroom.

"I know."

"I'm more scared of Alex than I am of war."

"Me too. Tony's frightenin'."

"Well, we tried for America." Bucky shrugged.

"She's shakin' for that terrible display of freedom." Steve muttered.

"Yeah." Bucky scoffed.

"Alright, time to go butter him up to at least get it down until Friday."

"Me too."

"Good luck." Steve whispered.

"You too."

"Oh! Yes! We're going on a double date! This is so exciting!" Tony beamed.

"Oh! Bucky! I'm so happy for you!"

"Oh, you two are so cute!"

"How did it go with you? He seems fine." Bucky nudged the man.

"Oh, trust me, he's still mad at me." Steve nodded.

"I at least got it down to sleepin' on the couch until Saturday, so only 6 days." He hummed.

"I got till Friday."

"Lucky bastard."

"Hey Alex." Steve smiled.

"Hi Steve." Alex waved.

"So, what's the date?"

"We have poker, volleyball is outside, um... oh, we can watch a movie." Tony interjected.
