"My dad took my mom out for breakfast. They'll be gone for at least 2 hours." Alex reasoned.

"They like fancy stuff. Plus, they talk forever. They're old like that." He waved.

"We're fine."

Bucky sighed as he walked in, then looked at the man warily, "I know I changed. I promised I have." He nodded.

"I just... he definitely remembers how I was before. In the army."

"Oh, please," Alex waved, "it's fine."

"Soldiers are hot."

"Besides, my dad really can't get mad at you. I mean, when I left my school during Winter break and visited my dad in the army, I slept with like... tons of soldiers." He scoffed.

"Probably every one of the new recruits he got. They were hot and-I'll stop now." He nodded when he saw the soldier giving him a look.

"I'm not scared of the General, doll. I get along with him." Bucky scoffed.

"I'm scared... I don't... with my track record, parents never like me. I love you, Alex, I do." He ensured.

"I just... I'm scared of screwin' this up with you."

Alex hugged him and kissed him softly, then looked at the man with a smile, "I know, Bucky."

"But my dad is going to love you, Bucky."

"Please? Just... try. For me?"

"I know, but..."

"Oh, come on, Bucky, baby. I just... I want him to love you like I do." Alex reasoned.

"Okay, well, not exactly like I do," he scoffed, "but if you do try, then tonight, I'll love you like I do in that leather suit you like so much." He smirked and played with his hair.

"You are amazing." Bucky smiled, then kissed him and walked them to the couch.

"Who is-dad?" Alex gaped and sat up immediately.

"What?" Bucky shot up, then fell off the couch and groaned from the impact.

"Damn it."

"Alex, who are you-Barnes?"

"Uh... how's the base now, General? Hope you're not missin' us too much." Bucky smiled sweetly up at him, then gasped when the man grabbed him by his throat.

"No, dad, wait." Alex rushed over and tugged him back.

"Dad, stop it. I'm fine."

"What are you doin' with my son, Buchanan?"

"Sam... wait." Bucky rasped.

"I know what you do to others, Barnes." Sam spat.

"Samuel Garcia, you let go of that man this instant."

"But honey, he's-"

"Do not make me tell you again, Samuel." She glared.

"Fine." Sam groaned, then let go of him and glared at the soldier.

"Bucky." Alex rushed over and checked him over to make sure he was alright.

"Thanks, doll." Bucky smiled.

"Do not call him that." Sam ordered.

"Dad, stop it." Alex glared.

"Samuel, knock it off."
