Kasumi's Past (15): Surrounded

After leaving the palace, we were now in the forest behind the palace fleeing further away from the Harimogura Palace.

Feronia flew through the forest without stopping, while knowing there was a high chance she had been spotted or being tracked, since she had an instinctual and eerie feeling something would happen soon.

A few hours later, we reached the border, between the Bīsutokin Kingdom and Akhazar Kingdom, but were soon surrounded by lamia on all sides without a way out besides fighting.

I woke up to find out I was being carried by Feronia on her shoulder, but I still felt tired even though the backlash from [Natural Arts] had worn off.

Once my vision cleared up a bit, I noticed that we were surrounded by lamias on all sides, which surprised me with the sheer number of them.

Most were normal vampiric lamia, but others had traits from the 5 of the primordial family, such as the ears and tails of the corresponding family they belonged to.

One such lamia was a tall woman who had a slender figure with a large bosom, she wore a white sports bra, as for her lower half it was a dark purple and white scaled serpentine body. She had black hair that flowed downed to her lower back, a beautiful face, black cat ears, a slender neck, red eyes with vertical slit pupils  that had a cold but cute glare.

"Feronia, what happened to them?" I said with a worried expression, while pointing at the ones with beastkin features.

"They used to be one of the seven families, but were turned into a lamia, but kept some of their traits, leading to them being what they are now". Feronia said with a sigh, while looking around herself.

"Oh I see". I said with a contemplating expression.

"Why are they just standing..." Feronia said while being interrupted by an attack from behind.

Feronia pivoted her foot to the left, dodging the lamia's attack, while casting Storm Magic, sending a lightning bolt through their heart, killing them instantly, but it still wasn't over, since the rest of the previously idle lamias began to take action.

Two more lamias bolted towards her with one having cat-eared and the other having bunny ears. The cat-eared lamia disappeared into her shadows, waiting for an opportunity to attack.

As for the other one, she casted [Lunar Magic], which caused light from the moon to descend onto her, giving her an increase in power and control over the night.

The rabbit lamia let out a loud moan of pleasure from the feeling of the moonlight strengthening her body, but that wasn't all. A clear liquid began flowing down her tail from underneath her dress, which Feronia responded to by covering her eyes and ears.

"Why did you cover my eyes and ears?". I asked while pouting.

"Because you are too innocent to see or hear that, now settle down, so I can fight without any hindrance". Feronia said while not giving a glance at me.

"Fine". I said while listening to her words.

"Sineleia, can you not moan from the moonlight entering your body". A pure lamia named  Lephite slithered over to Sineleia with an annoyed, but slightly blushing face.

Lephite had a petite and slender figure with a medium sized bosom, she wore a black frilly bra, as for her lower half it was a silver and white scaled serpentine body. She had silver hair that flowed down to her waist, a beautiful face, silver pointed ears, a slender neck, and red eyes which glimmered in the moonlight.

"Sorry, that was my first time using my [Lunar Magic] since I became a Lamia". Sineleia with a slightly apologetic expression, while blushing in embarrassment.

Sineleia was a man previously, so she had never experienced this type of pleasure before, causing her to moan and wet herself by casting Lunar Magic, which would normally not happen from the moonlight descending down into the body.

"It's fine, but don't you have an important matter to attend to?" Lephite said while pointing towards Feronia and I, then slithering back to where she was previously.

Sineleia then glared over at us with an embarrassed glare that was now turned cold, before swiping her hand towards us, which sent a blue crescent moon blade towards us.

*Crrrrr!!

Feronia casted a Storm Barrier which was made of small ice crystals which were constantly bumping against larger ice pellets.

*Bzzzt!!

Lightning was soon created from the friction created by the ice crystals and pellets constantly bumping and rubbing into each other.

The storm barrier became a mix between ice and lightning, which was still increasing in power by the very second from the consistent friction of the ice rubbing against each

*Creak!!

The blue crescent moon blade clashed against the storm barrier, but wasn't able to cleanly cut through.

*Crack!!

The moon blade shattered the storm barrier to pieces after nearly losing all its power, but by that time Feronia had already dodged, since the attack was too slow for her.

"Tsk, she dodged what an annoying bird, why can't she just give up and die, so we can capture that kitsune girl on her shoulders". Sineleia muttered to herself, but it was loud enough for both Feronia and I to hear clearly.

Feronia vanished from her spot, which slightly surprised Sineleia before appearing behind her with storm magic being shot at her.

*Pfff!!

*Bzzzt!!

She was able to avoid the fatal attack to her heart, but was unable to dodge entirely on leaving a hole through her chest and abdomen, which had charred skin and tissue surrounding the wound. She soon fell to the ground with a shocked expression, seeming to fall unconscious.

Feronia knew that she still wasn't dead yet, so she cast a lightning bolt with storm magic, but this time it was aimed at her heart, killing her instantly with a zap.
