Now what? It should be done, right? I bet he wouldn't try to befriend me no matter how much potential I have in boxing.

I sat upright, blocking an arm to my face. This is humiliating!

"What are you doing?"

"Uh, aren't you gonna...hit me?" I hesitantly asked, about to brace another punch to my other cheek so I can peacefully pass out in shame.

But then I heard the words of salvation. "Why would I?"

Is—is this it? Is the plot still going smoothly for me? Am I gonna be friends with Hajun?!

He turned around, before looking back to me in a cool pose. "Let's go for a smoke."

I felt my eyes twinkled, awestrucked. AKDJSHRKSBSKDJSKEJ—even internally screaming almost made me snap a vein to my throat. But I couldn't shake off this feeling.

KYAAAAAAA! BESTIEEEEEEEEEE!

Ahem. Kuja, we're still the original besties, don't worry.

But! Even if I followed them all the way out for a smoke, I don't smoke. I never liked the idea of smoking, I might end up coughing my lungs out. There were also a bunch of other guys with Hajun.

"So what happened with her?"

"I got her number, but...haha..."

"Ask her if she wants to go for a beer."

"You bastard. Haha..."

Loh, don't! This bastard you call a friend might end up trying to retri your girl, dude!

I looked at Hajun who offered me a cigarette. "What are you waiting for? Take it."

Just like the original Suhyeon, I waved a hand with a polite smile. "I don't smoke."

"Really?" And he's so chill about it. I guess he really isn't that bad! "Your name?"

"Suhyeon Kim." I simply answered. I'm not entirely used to introducing myself with that name, considering I lived a different life in a different world before I got here. But I guess I can manage to adapt fast enough.

Now that I remember, Suhyeon was busy overthinking about the rumors he heard of Hajun, thinking he'll beat him out here since he can't do it in the classroom.

Heh. If I didn't know any better, I would think the same.

"Sorry about earlier." Hearing his apology, I can only look at him as I maintain my polite and innocent look. "You were better than I thought. I ended up fighting back out of reflex."

It sounds kind of nice to be complimented.

"I've boxed for quite a while too. I think you've got potential."

Hearing that made me more determined than ever to try harder. Not because I know the plot doesn't mean I can lag off behind. I beamed a smile at him. "Thanks!"
